First time here over Father’s Day weekend. We had a $ 10 coupon so why not give it a try? Came in on a Saturday night. Business was brisk but not near capacity. My son ordered the French toast platter. It looked delicious and he confirmed it was! My husband got a good old cheeseburger and fries. He asked for medium rare, got well. Still very good he thought. He knows burgers! I ordered the broasted chicken meal. I eat chicken a-lot… This was the best I’ve had in years. We don’t need KFC or POPEYES… This was GREAT! Served with baked potato and a bowl of very tasty Vegetable beef soup and garlic bread. The food was above average down home country cooking! The service while very well staffed, was S.L.O.W. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food. I ended up taking mine with me as we were late for a movie. We returned the following day(Fathers Day) for brunch. The place was packed but we were seated quickly. Once again, Well staffed but very S.L.O.W. This time we waited almost an hour for our meals. Our coffee and sodas were filled every few minutes while we waited. At check out they took the drinks off our bill since we waited so long. Very friendly service but plan on staying awhile for their good food!!!

Always enjoy eating here. Their Broaster Chicken is the best. The servers are friendly and provide good service… and they’re a hoot! Ask Amanda to make you some«Tater-Tachoes». Tell her that Paul & Marc sent you. You gotta stop in if you’re passing through Red Bluff around meal time.

We have ordered take-out from here a few times now, and each has been a positive experience. My only complaint: the first time, some of the ham on my chef salad was a little more fatty than I would like. However, most of the ham was lean, and it was still a great salad! Club sandwich has been consistently good as well. Hoping to go in soon and try out their breakfast menu.

Was expecting a better dinner. I ordered the Chicken Fried steak. When it got to the table, I knew it was going to be bad, just like at a Denny’s. It was a frozen steak, fresh out of a box, the gravy is a MIX. The mashed potatoes were good, as they were the ONLY thing on my plate that was homemade. Packaged gravy, packaged CFS? Really, how is this considered home style cooking? I also wanted a normal beer, but they only had ales. So I tried the Land Shark, and found it was pretty good. I would have preferred an Miller or Dos Equis. But they don’t carry normal brands.

Worst breakfast ever. Eggs Benedict is plain and bland. Nothing special about it, just gross. The restaurant feels old and dirty.

Standard diner food. For breakfast I had a skillet of some sort. Various meats and potatoes, 3 eggs all covered in country gravy. Adequate. Coffee was delicious though and service was great! Coffee cup never made it below ½.

I’m very picky about Eggs Benedict and it is very hard to find places that make it right. Good news is this is one of the few places that does. Food was very good and the General Manager Amanda was very friendly and a great server.

Ive liked most of the food I orded. Most of ther sides are homemade. the staff has been friendly and the prices pretty cheap. my main problem is with the bad shape the building is in. during this last rain i was eating there and they buckets all over catching rian that was literaly pouring through the ceiling.

I went here in the hopes of having some awesome fried chicken after a fun filled day of playing in the snow with my family. My family and I were seated and our Server was friendly and kind. We order three salad bars and told our server we wanted to get the«16 piece chicken order that was about $ 30.00». This meal include two sides, a whole pie and chicken. So my family and I are there over an hour and half waiting for fried chicken. it turns out it took so long because they burned it and had to restart it over which we didn’t find out until the very end of our visit. Thank Goodness we salads! There was also confusion between we wanted and what the server thought we wanted. Apparently, there are two 16 piece meals one that is about $ 21.00 and the other is closer to $ 30.00. The miscommunication became apparent when the server delivered four individual pieces of pie. Apparently, she thought we wanted the 16 piece that was about $ 21.00 and didn’t include a whole pie, however, since it was free pie slice night that is how we ended up with 4 pieces of pie. As a former server, i kinda feel like if we are the customers(and know very little of the menu) and you are the server then you should have clarify with us if there was two 16 piece meals about which one we wanted. Anyways, though it all the server was kind and understanding. So the low review isn’t too much in regard to her. My major compliant was the food. The fried chicken either had little to no seasoning and really wasn’t that good. I would have preferred KFC rather than wait over an hour for«meh» chicken. To add insult, was the mash potatoes with brown gravy. The mash potatoes were not homemade and the gravy is probably from a package. Both tasteless. We ordered two sides of it and they arrived on two different sizes plates one small and the other a little larger. On a quality control level, food portion sizes should always look the same. I am also guessing of how the potatoes were when they were served they were probably nuke in the microwave. When we took our potatoes to go. they slide off the plate perfectly. definitely not homemade. SO one star. the salad was fresh and well stocked. Very disappointed that we weren’t told sooner why the long wait. If i go back, which i HIGHLY doubt that will be the case… i will not be ordering their chicken dinner.

Good food, friendly and fast service. But the bathroom could have been stocked better(no toilet paper) and silverware was dirty.

Went in around 1:00pm, restaurant was not even busy. The service was TERRIBLE. We waited five minutes for cream for our coffee, by the time we got it our coffee was cold. We didn’t even get a coffee refill for another 10 minutes and then FINALLY someone came and took our order. We waited a really long time for our food, and when we finally got it, my husband didn’t even get all of his good. We waited 5 more minutes for his biscuits and gravy while the rest of our food got cold. Once we finally got his b&g, we started eating. His biscuits and gravy were cold, like they had been sitting for 10 minutes. And there was a HAIR in my food. A long, blonde hair(mine is brown). At this point I was so hungry, that I just cut the omelette in half and are the hairless half. The omelette was paper thin and tasted like egg beaters. I will never return to this place.

Every now and then I visit the Tractor Supply next door for work, and I’ve been meaning to try this place out for the longest time. Unfortunately, on Saturday, one of my coworkers was refused service because he’s black. Thanks. Real classy establishment.

Monday night two-for-one chicken dinner four pieces of deliciously broasted chicken with your choice of sides. Oh yeah. We didn’t have to ask for anything. Save room for the coconut cream pie. The two servers Tim and Danielle are on top of their game, cheerful, efficient and down-to-earth folks.

Good old fashioned small-town diner with fast, friendly service. Big menu typical of a diner: breakfast all day, dinner all day, too! Also typical of an old fashioned diner is that the food is forgettable. Not bad, not great, it gets the job done.

I had been camping in the area on a friends ranch, it was raining and cold. I thought to myself, I really could go for a hot brunch right about now! SO, we ventured into town and I found this place on Unilocal. It looked to be my most promising option, which it turned out to be! We were seated almost instantly and poured a nice cup of coffee. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. They were excellent, just what the doctor ordered! My buddy had their meatloaf, which he really enjoyed as well. Our service was great, our waitress was super friendly and tentative. I will most likely come back in future, when in town!
