First visit to Firehouse, here’s our experience: Customer Service: Average, not super friendly, but no real complaints Pizza: Good!!! We got an XL half and half with one being the Ba’Donga and the other the gourmet garlic chicken. Both really good and heavy on the toppings. Between the two the Ba’Donga was our favorite with the artichoke hearts. All toppings tasted fresh and very well cooked. Not too much crust and very tasty. Only one complaint… Asked for plates and got sort of flimsy cheap paper plates. I understand the cost effectiveness of this, but kind of tacky and easy to cut through when using a fork, which is needed with the hearty pizza. Real plates or better paper plates would have been preferred.

Wish I could give less than one star. New to town, and looking for a pizza place other than Round Table, we decided to try Firehouse because they were nearby. Just called to order for delivery and was told they«only deliver within walking distance.» Okay, we live downtown, so that shouldn’t be a problem.. . Apparently, our house, a mere ZERO-POINT-THREE miles away, was too far! What kind of lazy-ass delivery people do you have working for you?! We would have just walked down and retrieved it ourselves, but the person on the phone sounded so incompetent we decided not to risk it. Besides, we were trying to find a new, consistent delivery service, and they obviously weren’t interested in our business.
