The only thing that I really have to say about this place is that it is a fairly new facility and appears to be generally clean. The other thing is that its convenient that they are open on some holidays and on weekends and late.
I have come here maybe 3 – 4 times for urgent care when I was sick. The providers have always been nice. The girls who work at the front desk need some training on their customer service skills. I can’t stand with someone greets you with, «Do you have an appointment?» or «Last name?» So irritating! A greeting like, «Good morning. How are you today? Can I help you get checked in?». I typically experience wait times of 2 – 3 hours. But just recently I got in with in 30 min… but then had to wait in the treatment room for about 45 min. I feel like the staff here just pump patients through like cattle and never take the time to get to know them.

This is the most unprofessional medical facility I have ever experienced. Not only has this facility given me private information of another patient, they also can not follow simple instructions. It took them 2 months to fax a referral for my mother who has stage 3 lung cancer. It took them1 ½ months to fax a referral for a scope. It took them 3 YEARS… YES 3 YEARS TO FAX A SIMPLE COLONOSCOPY REFERAL!!! IT TOOK THEM OVER 2 MONTHS TO RESPOND TO MY FILING OF FMLA TO CARE FOR MY PARENTS COSTING ME 2 MONTHS OF LOST PAY! AND IT IS UNCALLED FOR TO GIVE ME ANOTHER PATIENTS APPOINTMENT CARD AND THEN CLAIM MY FATHER HAS NO APPOINTMENT DUE TO YOUR INABILITY TO PERFORM SIMPLE OFFICE FUNCTIONS! Then when a person files a complaint, or when they simply drive a person to having an anxiety attack, they want to claim that person is threatening and abusive? I’m sorry the way you treat your patients is abusive.

We’ve always had great experiences at Lassen Medical Group. It’s a great, complete medical resource for the entire family and they were our go-​to for care for the many years we lived in Cottonwood. We went back when my daughter had a medical issue when we were visiting the area on vacation. I was really grateful for the kind, expert care.

I’m here for the first time today just to get a quick Drs note for work. I was waiting for about 2 hours and was the only person in the waiting room the entire time. I just came back to the room where I’ve been waiting for another 30 min so far…
This building seems fairly new and looks tidy, but as I’m sitting here in the room analyzing things… I see blood stains on the pillow… Clearly from the barrier on the table not being changed… Disgusting. Thankfully I wasn’t here for any type of physical exam.
On a side note, I finally just seen the doctor who was extremely kind!

Moving to Tehama from the Bay Area nearly 15 years ago, I am blessed to have my medical care here in Red Bluff. The care here is second to non, with the feel they really care I use the local Raley’s for my prescriptions and find the communication between Doctor and store seem less.
