Don’t hesitate to eat here. Everything was solidly good, and the server was super nice. We shared loaded quesadillla, a mango taco, and a fish taco and we were stuffed. Reasonable pricing, too.

Friendly, efficient service. Fish tacos were toppy. Fish in the fish and chips was undercooked. We will be back to try other menu items.

We drive 1300 miles to eat at Mango’s!!! From Texas to Red Cliff!!! It’s the absolute best burger, fries, tater skins, chips and salsa, you’ll ever eat! The atmosphere is cool, and so are the locals! Drive to Red Cliff, and head straight to Mango’s!

We kinda stumbled upon Mangos while driving to Aspen. Good burgers and a nice third story deck to enjoy the sunshine and mountain scenery. Red Cliffs is a little town kinda of hidden away. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos.

Sooooo worth the trip out. Especially if you are able to come in by snowmobile. Good beer selection. 4 different options were tried at lunch. Cobb salad, Sage(green chili) burger, fish and chicken tacos were all really good. We will definitely be back.

I love Mangos! It is the local hangout. The food is simple and good. The staff are great and mostly local. The atmsosphere is tasteful and moutain-esque. Coming here always makes me happy!

We LOVE Mangos. After a day of awesome hiking in the mountains southwest of Red Cliff, dinner at Mangos is the best! Their burgers, salads, fish tacos are all wonderful. The beer selection is great, margaritas are delicious, the service is friendly, and the small rustic mountain town of Red Cliff is definitely worth a drive.

Pretty damn cool second story patio. Talk about some fall color views. Beverages only here, this time. Nothing could bat a cold beer after a couple hour windy dirt road drive. What a great small mountain town. Almost looks like it stands frozen, with not much new since the 1960s. Awsome place!

Stumbled upon this little gem of a town yesterday while out riding, and decided lunch was in order. I think that this is the only restaurant in Red Cliff. With amazing views from the roof top patio and a delightful server this was the perfect place to stop. I had the blue cheese burger and it was amazing! It went nicely with my Dale’s Pale Ale that they had on tap. If you find yourself in the tiny town of Red Cliff make sure to stop at Mango’s you won’t be disappointed that you did!

The great thing about the town is you can snow mobile right in. Can’t say much for the highly touted Mango’s though. I’d say the fish tacos are overrated. Their secret sauce lacks a punch. The fish lacks flavor. Stick to the wings.

One of the BEST restaurants in the Vail Valley! Awesome fish tacos! We went on a Thursday night($ 3 fish taco/$ 3 margarita night) and had the greatest time. It was a fun atmosphere with a live band, good food and good service. They even gave us all free hats! If you’re looking for super friendly people, great food and a fun time in a small mountain town, this is the place to go!

There were 11 of us in Vail, Co for a wedding this past weekend and a couple we were with(from Nebraska) kept talking about how much we all were going to enjoy Mango’s. They could not stop raving about their food, especially the fish tacos. I told them I would be the judge of that! Living in La Jolla, Ca I am blessed to be surrounded by the best fish tacos. For an appetizer we ordered a variety of things from chips with salsa, guacamole, and queso, chicken nachos, quesadillas, and spinach and artichoke dip. Everything was great and worth the order!!! The appetizer that stuck out the most was their chicken quesadilla. It was the best chicken quesadilla I have ever tasted. The chicken was perfectly cooked, cheese inside was perfectly melted, and the tortilla was cooked to perfection. The black beans were a great touch inside the quesadilla. When it was all gone it kept me wanting more. We ordered their fish tacos, Don Ho burger(pineapple, cheddar cheese, and teriyaki glaze), Floyd burger(Swiss, bacon, guacamole). The fish tacos have definitely made my top three best fish tacos in the nation. The Don Ho burger had the right amount of teriyaki sauce and was cooked perfectly to my liking(medium). The Floyd burger was delicious! The guacamole was fresh and the thick slices of bacon made every bite delightful. You also have the choice of fresh potato chips or fries. I highly recommend the fresh potato chips. they were thinly sliced and not hard and over cooked. The fries were were good as well, I was just in a chip mood. To wash all of this down we ordered a few pitchers of margaritas and of course some Coors Lights. You kind of have to being in the Rockies. I highly recommend this family establishment!!! The staff was very friendly and very attentive to anything we needed. The ambience was very soothing and not to mention the drive to get there is breath taking and beautiful. Everyone left with a smile and stomach full of great food!!!

Let me start out by saying there’s a pretty good chance you won’t find yourself in Red Cliff by chance around meal time, so Mango’s probably isn’t someplace you could just«stumble» on, but let me tell you it’s worth the trek. If you find yourself in Vail/Eagle/Edwards and looking for someplace away from the crowds of tourists, Mango’s is the place to go. You have to do a bit of driving to get there, including some narrow curvy mountain roads, but the experience you’ll get by doing so is well worth it. The location can’t be beat… imagine a picturesque small mountain village, quiet and secluded, with amazing views(especially from the 3rd floor patio!). Definitely try the quesadillas. I know it may seem like a simple menu item, but theirs is unique and very well done… the tortillas are crusted with parmesan and it’s stuffed with more good things than you can imagine. The fish tacos(which they seem to be known for) looked really great, but I wasn’t feeling fish the night I was there so didn’t indulge. Trust me, if you’re anywhere near Vail and looking for a good meal with good people and GREAT views, Mango’s can’t be beat.

A couple of friends that I was visiting in Eagle are huge fans of Mango’s so we drove over for a late lunch. First, the location and outdoor decks are wonderful. It was a beautiful day outside and perfect weather for sitting on their outdoor patio in the bright mountain sunshine. The atmosphere was really great as there was a constant stream of interesting skiers, snowmobile riders, and locals coming into the restaurant throughout the time we were there. It was just a cheerful, fun place to eat lunch. I ordered the Quesa Grand Quesadilla and was very happy with the flavor, texture and overall presentation. It was completely stuffed full of chicken, cheese, jalapenos, and other toppings and was just the right amount of spicy and crunchy. Other fiends ordered the fish tacos(also delicious) and salad with a very good balsamic vinaigrette. The Caesar side salad I ordered as uninspired to say the least(finely chopped lettuce, bland Caesar dressing) but everything else was quite good.

I think I could give it 4 stars because of the expectations when going in. Coming from SLC, Utah, we were in town for the Teva Mountain Games in Vail and somehow we stumbled up this tiny town of Red Cliff. Of course we came in late at night, and because of it’s small size/old mining equipment, it reminded us of a horror film.(no offense to the locals there) We walked in to what we thought was going to be a dive, and we were welcomed with a really relaxed environment that has a better décor than places that I have been to in my rich hometown in Ohio. I remember having a steak sandwich and you must order their fries. I know fries seem like something of «just» a side, but they were delicious. Good prices, great service, cool décor, and some interesting stories about an old mining town tucked into the Rockies. If ever going to the Teva Mountain Games/in the area, look em up. It’s worth it to grab a sandwich ‘n’ beer(especially at the price comparison to Vail.)

The food was decent. I’ve never had to say this in my entire life– but the chef here really needs to salt their food. Also, $ 2 for a sauce cup of tasteless guacamole is ridiculous! They really made up for it with their hot fries and fresh beers. The server couldn’t get a beer to pour from the tap so she ended up comping us the beer. That was great service on her part! This place is hard to get to unless you are staying in Red Cliff, but that being said, it was the only game in town, so they get all the business. Verdict– If you’re going to be in Red Cliff, you’re going to find yourself here. Just go with the flow and grab some fried foods and cold beers.
