La Newyorkina Red Hook

Saw a guy walking with a paleta in the frozen dessert wasteland that is Red Hook (Steve’s excluded) and had to track down the source**.
The selection at this B&M location is wider than their other presences — including pints (BOGO on our visit) and an ice cream case — and they take cards and offer a loyalty card**, but the 4-​star rating is due to that dilution in the form of the pretty mediocre ice cream (albeit in creative, promising flavors like those we tried: tres leches, mole, cajeta, mango passion, mango chamoyada, mexican chocolate, and a couple others …3 scoops in a cup with a cone on top — because the friendly staffer didn’t trust them to hold the triple — for $ 7×2).
