Great store. A little on the pricey side but some really clever toys. There was a young girl working when we went and she looked absolutely miserable! … who could be so miserable working at a toy and candy store? …seriously, we tried to be friendly and funny and she was stone cold.. I’ll still go back though.

An enchanted place in the center of Red Hook Village. Toys of all kinds for kids of all ages, just perfect for the holidays. The candy is incredible, with penny candies, old fashioned bars, and imports from England. They also carry Lucky Chocolates from the original Lucky in Saugurties, N.Y. They playhouse is a gorgeous and magical place for little ones and the toddler programs in mornings and afternoons are absolutely lovely. The kids don’t want to leave!

Little Pickles is a great place to bring your kids. They have a excellent selection of educational toys, gifts, and sweets. The proprietors have their own kids, so they know exactly what kinds of toys to keep in stock. My son William loves to visit this store, where we always leave satisfied. I can’t wait to try to the «drop off» service; William will get to play with friends while my wife and I can enjoy a meal or a movie. Definitely worth stopping in.

If you are in Red Hook NY please take the time to visit the shop. Good for parents AND children alike. Great selection of all things children while the staff enables the parents to take a breath and let their kids let loose a bit under proper supervision. A must visit. Enjoy!
