When Red Hook used to be a big farming town, this place (sometimes more commonly known as Agway) had been a bustling place with shoppers. But through the years, things tended to die off, and its not uncommon to find their gate closed, and, in the case of the mere walker, its doors closed and locked.
However, hearing from others who are privy to the information, the place is still «open». Now, i know it isnt just me, as ive tried various times, always, that gate is locked.
Maybe someday, someone will reown the place and bring it back to its old self, but until then, find other sources (Adams Fairacre Farms across the river and Pet Country in Rhinebeck) for your animal needs.
