I am always here on my lazy days off in the summer. Migliorelli’s is one of those hotspots that always attracts crowds. I frequently see tourists stopping here to check out all the local goods. It’s also a favorite for the locals. The fruits and veggies tend to be a bit overpriced compared to other places in the area, but the appeal stems from the people who work there-I have never met friendlier people at a farm stand. What you usually encounter at locally owned places like this is silence. Silence is not helpful. I always have a lot of questions(i.e. How do I make this? What recipe suggestions can you give me?), and they always have wonderful answers for me. This happened to me recently when there was a vegetable I had never seen before and I wanted to know how to cook it. The woman at the counter was helpful and gave me some great ideas. Overall, my experiences here have always been great and I look forward to another summer here!
