I usually don’t leave reviews but the more I thought about it I had to. We purchased 2 dozen large crabs at $ 69.00 a dozen in the beginning of June. At that price we were expecting some pretty good crabs. We were sadly dissapointed. There were a few big ones on the top but most of them looked like they were barley legal and had recently molted. They should be ashamed of themselves for selling those to people at the price. I would hate to see what the smalls looked like. This was not our first time getting crabs from there but we will definitely not be returning.

There is no place that does crabs like the Capt. I always ask for extra seasoning and I do wait for the best time of the year when crabs should be heavy and tasty and they have never disappointed.

We pre-ordered a bushel of their largest crabs end of May. Cost *choke* was $ 300. There were a few larger crabs on top with the little ones hiding below. Many of the crabs were empty and many were dry. Taste was not good. Not pleased at all. I’m not sure if we just ordered too early in the season but we’ll be hauling our crabs in from MD from now on.
