I was introduced to Golden Crust by some co-worker friends of mine, who are there often. I was pretty impressed. Everything I’ve ordered to eat there has been great. Whether it’s boneless wings, a cheeseburger sub, or an Italian entrée, everything is delicious! The dining room is small but a decent size. The taproom has 40 craft beers on tap, and it’s usually an impressive selection! The bottle shop also has a great selection of craft beer for mixing a six pack. Overall, a fantastic choice for dining out with the family, or haning oit with friends to enjoy a few beers!

I I have eaten inside, ordered delivery, and I have stopped in to buy beer… And I’ve never had a bad time. If you like spicy wings I highly recommend the mango habanero, those were awesome. Real friendly staff as well. Popped in on New Year’s Eve to grab beer and they made it a point to wish me a happy new year and to be safe on the roads. It’s the little things that can make someone choose this places pizza, wings and beer over the other guys pizza, wings and beer.

Just had dinner there and was very disappointed. The meat sauce had an unpleasant taste. The baked penne was not really baked. This use to be one of the best restaurants around. I will still go there for wings, Philly cheese steaks. They haven’t messed this up last time I ordered. I’ll be eating my Italian dinners up around the corner at Central or GAS. Sorry to see this going down hill.

Finally made it to this place for dinner with friends. Very clean place with friendly staff! Nicely decorated. We had excellent wings and onion rings with the optional boom-boom sauce! The lasagna was excellent. I got a small cheese pizza(my go-to when trying a pizza place for the first time) and it was decent. The original hand tosded crust was perfect and a little crispy not too thick. The cheese was just ok but the sauce was the weak link. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t the best either. Our friends ordered a pizza also and agreed about the sauce. The beer selection is huge. I started with a great Sam Adams Octoberfest and finished with a pitcher of Yuenging lager. The menu is huge so I will go back to try other things. Overall we liked it because it was clean and friendly and mostly good food.

Really good pizza, some of the best in York county by far. Great beer selection, but the dining room is strange and sterile. Better for take out than eat in

Pizza was great and so were the wings, everything I’ve gotten here was good and there’s a large choice of beers if you’re thirsty. The dining room is set up weird and the wait staff isn’t normally in the dining room which can be frustrating at times. All in all I’d suggest this place to friends and family.

Moved here from Philly not too long ago and have given this place a shot a few times now so it’s review time… First the lunchtime review: they’ve got some decent specials and whatnot typical of a pizza type shop. However if you’re there from the office, be prepared to wait… and then wait a bit more. We were there just over an hour and a half so it’s a good thing I work out of the house & didn’t have to be back to work quickly. Food is decent for both lunch and dinner… pizza is the best I’ve had around here since moving but I don’t really know how good any other places are. Beer selection is nice but they’ve been out of a few things I’ve asked for and had not updated their listing yet. The Monday wing special is good and their wings are pretty good to say the least. As far as cheesesteaks go, well it ain’t Philly. All in all not bad and if they can get me out quicker for lunch I’ll bump it up to 4 stars next time.

I had the Philly cheesesteak minus the onions it was pretty good nice toasted bread, meat was kind of ordinary but wasn’t dry, cheese sauce was great but it was missing something. I had to wind up putting ketchup and mustard on the sandwich. After adding that it did taste better just seems like it was missing some type of like seasoning or something. I was pretty impressed with the fried pickles however I didn’t see him on the menu so it had to take me to the opportunity to ask for them. I was pretty surprised that when I order the fried pickles she said it did not come with any dipping sauce. So I requested a particular sauce for myself that I thought would go good with the pickles however she brought me out a different sauce and it was really good and spicy. French fries were a little dry. Seems like they might have been freezer burnt. You could kind of taste it. Chicken tenders were pretty good I ate one of those. I would say 3 out of 5 stars. Now the end of our dinner the waitress requested that we enter our phone number into some little kiosk that was at the exit door. apparently if you do that 5 vib .times you wind up getting some something free with one of your dinners. So all in all I will return, this wasn’t her first time and it wont be our last

The best pizza and cheese steak you can get in all of York County. I m originally from south Jersey and we take these foods to heart in the Philly metro region. Ever since I moved out here I have been plagued by horrible pizza, deplorable cheese steaks, and sad examples of Italian subs. Not anymore, now that I have found Golden Crust. I am only upset I didn’t try it sooner.

Usually 44 taps with lots of tasty craft brews. Extensive menu, and salads are prepared with care and pride. Plus Melissa in the Tap Room rocks!

It’s okay, food is marginal to good, prices are a bit high for pizza shop food. Their selection is good but you can have a hard time trying to flag down server on a busy night as they appear to be understaffed.

My wife and I have been going to Golden Crust for years. We try to find the time to go in at least once a week. Service is always friendly and competent and we’ve never had a meal there that we weren’t well pleased with. Their prices may be a hair higher than some of the other places but it’s well made up with quality and being able to walk away well satisfied. Their new tap room is small but all together they have 40 some taps. The only negative thing I have to say and I’ll give my opinion to get around it is that the dining room is too small. We tend to try to go either early, before 5PM, of late, after 7:30PM, to avoid not getting a table. They have a pan pizza and I ask that they push more of the dough to the crust and wow was it good and I knick named it the Super Crust Pizza. We love ours with mushroom, onion, and Sweet Peppers instead of green peppers, big difference. Where else can you find an 18″ sub or chopped steak sandwich. The deserts are pretty good also. I’m so glad I live a small distance away or I’d be gaining weight eating there daily. lol!!! Viva Golden Crust!!!

I’ve been here a few times since getting a contract to work in the area. The waitresses are friendly, the food is good and the beer selection is amazing. They have 45 of some of the best beers I’ve seen on tap. They also have a great selection of take out beers. The person in charge of ordering their beer selection really knows what is good. When you visit make sure you go in the right side where the tap room is.

We’ve visited twice recently for Monday wing night and were very pleased. The wings are great(and better if you order the sauce on the side) and their house salad is very good. My husband and I each had wings(16 total), one beer each, one salad each and the total was just under $ 20. Not bad. :) Service was super excellent the first time and decent the 2nd time. Place is clean.

Phenomenal beer selection. Beer flights are available to enjoy all of what is on tap. Vince knows what he’s doing. The pizza(bacon, pepperoni, red onions, spinach) we had was also spot on. I make a point to stop here when visiting family.

Food is good, beer prices a bit high. A pizza and 5 – 6 beers can be very expensive. Ask beer prices before you order

My favorite place for lunch, and the best place to have craft beer with a meal. Classic Italian and great service.

This is THE local Red Lion Italian restaurant. Owned by the same family since the early 80’s and has grown with the town for the better. Order anything off the menu, no disappointment. Service is always quick and with a smile. Take-away beer selection is excellent and well priced. They should rename it «The Local». Thank you and keep it up!

I love Golden Crust. When I lived in PA it was within walking distance so we ordered from here a lot. My mom also goes there frequently for lunch because her office is also within walking distance. The pizza is fantastic. Great crust and sauce. They use the perfect amount of sauce and fresh toppings. There is a good variety of toppings to choose from. They have a nice selection of Italian meats that you can also have for pizza toppings. The hoagies are also really good. The bread is fresh and has the perfect texture. GC has a great Italian. I also love their salads. The Ceaser Italiano is my favorite and I recommend you try it. GC is not just your average pizza shop. The menu also has pasta dishes, great apps, Strombolis and calzones. The wings are average and they do have a wing night that’s very affordable. The soup is also fantastic. Cream of Crab is my favorite. My mom loves the creamy baked tomato which is made in a crock and topped with cheese. It really is good. I miss GC and wish Denver had a pizza shop, if that’s what you would call this, similar. Great food and amazing variety. Yum Yum!
