Branded Burger

The burgers are really good. However I stopped in the other day and it was so hot I couldn’t stay there and eat. Maybe the AC was out, either way I’ll be back. Also, I have never had bad service there either.

Just moving back to RO after living in the city for the last 12 years, I was anxious to try some new spots in RO and support local businesses. I took my Mother, Step Father, and bonus kiddo for lunch on Saturday. And I must say, I’ve never been, I guess you could say, «non-​greeted» so rudely in my life. It wasn’t just the young girl at the counter who couldn’t even have been bothered to say «can I help you», forget «hello» or «welcome», those were long gone, it was also the employees behind the grill griping about «we better not get busy!» and having to work, while throwing in a few choice cuss words here and there. (My daughter has heard cuss words, I don’t use them around her. I shouldn’t have to filter her atmosphere at a burger place in the middle of the day.) So, I gave her (woman taking orders) the benefit of the doubt and tried to spark up a small conversation, and see if maybe she was shy; nope, just more short answers and rude facial expressions. My family and I almost felt as though we were impeding on their personal time. There was a woman who appeared to possibly be the manager, but she was carrying on with the employees in a way that I didn’t feel my feedback would be appropriately considered. So, we ordered our food, sat down in silence with other patrons, and proceeded to finally eat. The food was good. Really good. With my background of Jake’s, Keller’s, and Burger House, Branded Burger held its own. The meat was perfect size, the seasoning was great, and the buns were delicious, too. It’s absolutely a shame to have such poor management and poor attitudes from their staff, which most definitely transposes onto customers, whether they try to or not. Sadly, I probably won’t make an effort to go back.

Great fried chicken sandwich and burgers. We make this a weekly stop. Also decent selection of craft beer for the area.

Had cheese fries with bacon, a beer and a shot of rum. Place was slow, so okay, but she brought wrong rum and no ketchup!!. Waitress kept disappearing for ages. Probably having to do the kitchens work when they should let her be attentive to tables. $ wise, not bad.

Just moved to Red Oak and was pretty excited to try Branded Burger, I can say we we’re not disappointed in the food. Our daughter who lives in Ovilla had been telling us for weeks that they were really good burgers and since we own a gourmet food truck, we we’re very curious, burgers, fries and onion rings were cooked and seasoned perfectly. But we were disappointed in the customer service. We hope that they fix this issue because we really liked it, but we only will try it 1 more time, so come on guys make this our favorite Friday night place, you got a great product!!!

We called at 8:40 pm. And asked about drink specials and closing hours. We were told 10pm was closing time. And no drinks specials were available. We Got there before 9pm and the restaurant was cleaned, chairs flipped and the restaurant appears closed. we asked abiut sitting at the bar and we were sent aound the corner. the bartender was not friendly and the bar area had chairs flipped as well and she said they were closing because it was slow, they were closing at 9pm and if we wanted anything to eat, we should order now. while we do understand that everyone likes to get off work at a decent time, we do not appreciate being given bad information and making a wasted trip for our Friday night dinner plans. we promptly left and went to another restaurant that was also closing soon, however they greeted us with a welcome attitude and a quick and pleasant staff.

Disappointing. The bread was nice and fresh but too much sauce rendered it to disintegrating mush. Had to eat the components of the sandwich with fingers. Won’t go back.

I’ve never experienced the negative service issues that others have written about in here and I suspect that people are just hopping on Unilocal for this one review haha. Anyway on to my review.
The burgers here are pretty dang great. I typically order a Hollywood burger which has jalepenos onions, lettuce, tomatoes (I think), and mustard or mayo.
The beef patty is juicy and doesn’t taste greasy and fatty. It tastes lean but not so lean that you think you are eating grain products (or heaven forbid a veggie patty). They do have alternatives if you aren’t into beef so you cow lovers and vegetarians are not SOL. I haven’t had any of the other burgers but I would highly recommend it based on my experiences.
The French fries are not included in a burger so the price does get up around 9.50 after ordering a fry. No drink included. The fries are large and you likely won’t be hungry after eating all that I have mentioned.
Drinks are self serve as they have one of those coca cola machines that mix all the flavors.
Give it a shot. Definitely worth it.

Food is good but horrible service. Every Time i go there they ALWAYS get the order wrong. Its like they dont listen or even care your there.

I will start by saying this place started out great but I have been watching it slowly go down. I sure hope I have to eat my words bc it is one of the better hamburgers I’ve had. Tonight I called twice, was put on hold both times and both times was hung up on. So I have my husband go there to order & pick up. I ask him to leave his phone, I wanna check if my phone is broken. Been taking lots of baths and thought moisture was in it. I was busy around the house and noticed it’s been a minute and still no husband. Can’t call him bc I have his phone. I jump in the vehicle and get there and see he’s standing at the register w/​a bag of food. We get home and the 1^st words he said was «they’re some disgruntle people tonight.» It took him 1 hr to order and get the food. My hamburger was wrong plus to pink & greasy to eat and the onion rings were soooo strong. Should be making onion rings out of sweet onions. So so disappointed. I hope you hire more help or whatever the problem is that you fix it. Please!

Really good burger. Fries are pretty good too. This place takes burgers to a whole new level!

Delicious burgers, fries, and onion rings! Prices are higher than the average fast food restaurant but it’s well worth the better quality and taste. I would recommend stopping by Branded Burger anytime you pass by to pick up some delicious food.

The quality of the burger keeps me coming back, but the service just keeps getting worse and worse. If you sit in the bar area, you really may be SOL on getting a second beer. They keep hiring young people who don’t know things like the difference between a Coor’s Light and a Coor’s Original. IT’S THE BANQUET BEER, DAMMIT, NOT THE SILVER BULLET!

The atmosphere is super cute, the employees are nice and personable, and they serve the best burgers I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be going back!

The burgers are DELICIOUS! If you haven’t been here you should get to branded burger NOW! T fries and onion rings are always fresh and crispy. The fried pickles are must and you have to get the ranch dressing to dip them in. I’m getting hungry just writing the review.

I’ll start by saying the food was awesome! I’m always looking for a great burger joint, and being so close to my house this place is definitely staying on my list. Burgers weren’t overly greasy, buns weren’t soggy and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The restaurant was pretty decked out with a rustic ranch kinda feel, old tailgates for seats and all. Only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars, was because the staff was kinda rude. Really didn’t try to be nice or make you feel welcomed. There isn’t wait staff only the girls who take your order at the counter but come on, you got all this greatness in a restaurant, your employees should be a lot better than that!

I was so disappointed. An intentional diet break equaled frozen food served by an annoyingly dismissive teen!

Steak burger is DELICIOUS! Great flavors, fried pickles are also on point. Good addition to Red Oak.

The burgers are good and the décor is fun but you will wait a while for your food. Is it worth the wait… Depends on the day. I don’t care for the shredded lettuce so I skip that. My wife likes the salad and my kids love the chicken strips and Gogurt. This is a fun place to get better than decent food while saying hi to some friends.

Great burgers, large burgers, made to order burgers. Large orders of fries/​onion rings. This is NOT your regular fast food type burger joint. We will be going back!
