An uncontested divorce took TEN MONTHS. Seriously, no fighting came in with what we had agreed upon, nothing to do but paperwork, and 10 months later, I’m STILL going back and forth with her office. PLUS, get this, something I had conveyed to her office 3 times, and WAS in the version of the decree that I saw in advance of the court date, was NOT in the final version I signed at court. Um, ya, so you’re supposed to read everything you sign. but I was at COURT… who has time to think that something they read previously and was correct MIGHT have changed in the document you’re presented at the courthouse.
