Edelweiss Condominiums

We stay here in the summers for our 4-​wheeling trips. It’s great for riding in/​riding out in the Greenie Peak area.
The condos are very nicely furnished. Our condo had 2 king beds and a roll-​away bed. Both of the bedrooms had flat screen TVs, dressers, ceiling fans AND portable electric fans, which were nice given the ambient temperature. One of the bedrooms had a balcony; the other was on the interior of the complex. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you’d need to prepare a meal in the condo. They do not clean daily, which is fine with me. You set your basket of dirty towels outside and they replace it with a basket of clean towels. My biggest complaints are: they only provide 2 tiny soaps, which is not even enough to have soap at every sink (and certainly not enough for 5 people for 3 nights) and they only provide 1 trash bag. I’m sure they probably went through a lot of trash bags with people using them to bag dirty clothes or whatever, but come on. Trash bags are cheap and 5 people generate a lot of trash! And the soap thing — that’s obvious.
There is a heated pool in the complex, which I’m sure was nice. I didn’t use it because it was full of young kids, which aren’t much fun to hang out with if one of them doesn’t belong to you. ;-)
All in all, this is a great condo in a great location. The grounds and condos are kept very clean and well-​maintained. We had no problem having enough hot water for 5 showers every evening, which is a BIG deal in a condo. There is plenty of trailer parking, which is nice for 4-​wheeling. The only thing they could do to make it perfect (aside from the soap and trash bag issues) would be to add some blackout curtains or blinds or something in the upstairs bedrooms. There are walkway lights for the interior of the complex that are right outside the bedroom windows on the interior side that keep the rooms very bright at night. If you are sensitive to that, bring a mask or some tin foil to cover the window.

We stay here every year for our annual RR ski trip. The condos are individually owned so the décor varies but the layout of each is perfect for families. The heated pool in the winter and sauna are a huge plus. Owners are friendly and welcoming. The location is great too as you can easily walk to the ski hill in less than 10 min. Can’t beat Edelweiss!
