When I moved to Angel Fire, I realized very quickly that there was no good coffee to be found. Luckily for me, I’m from Austin so I had zero qualms driving 40 minutes to get great lattes. If you’re in Red River, pop in here. You won’t be disappointed.

On the way to grandma’s house, my dad and I decided to spare her having to make ANOTHER pot of coffee and decided to try The Way Coffeé instead. Still trying to figure out why the accent is over that last e… Anyways, the shop is such a necessity in the heart of Red River where coffee spots(especially chains) aren’t abundant. Just a joy of small town living! The café offers a variety of hot or cold caffeinated beverages, as well as Italian sodas, hot chocolate, lemonade, and more. I ordered a classic macchiato, while my dad went for a pumpkin latte, and my brother got the Ski Slope, their version of a peppermint mocha. In total our drinks were a little over $ 10 which I thought was just right. There was just one friendly guy working there who talked to us while he prepared our drinks. There is plenty of seating if you aren’t on the go, and an overall Christian atmosphere enhanced by the signs, books, artwork and more. I’ll definitely make this a routine stop when I visit Red River. Poor grandma needs a break every now and then!

The prices of drinks would be nice, but overall it was an ok place to get coffee. I had the caramel & coconut latte and it was really good. I was a little annoyed that the person at the counter was texting the entire time my dad was trying to order. I get that its a small, casual, locally owned coffee shop and it was a little slow but texts from your wife shouldn’t be prioritized over a customer ordering. They also didn’t have water, but it’s a coffee shop so I get that. All in all it was OK to grab a quick coffee.

My wife and I stopped in here to grab a quick coffee and a drink and came away pleasantly surprised by how friendly the service was, the store was very neat and well ran. Love the little coffee shops that deliver in all areas, give them a try!

Yes my my triple 16 oz latte was very good. Yes the gal was very nice. Yes the place has good ambience. However…didn’t see a price list anywhere so I almost fell over when she charged me $ 8.03 for my drink. Never in my life have I paid anything close to that for my latte(and I just came from Vegas.) It really dampened any enjoyment of this pricey beverage and it has bothered me ever since(this was two days ago.) I feel really taken advantage of. Red River is not THAT far out away from everything! This is for sure the best coffee in town but I highly doubt I will be spending any of my hard-earned money at this establishment when we visit again next year.

Every time I visit Red River, NM I stop in at The Way Coffee… like twice a day. ;) My husband and I found this cute little place right off the main street in town when we were there for our 10th wedding anniversary a few years ago. We were looking for a place to get cozy(leather sofas!) and have a fresh, tasty cup of coffee. What we didn’t expect was that we would meet the sweetest people there! This really is a cool little coffee shop, and we’ve found it perfect for our summer and winter vacations in Red River. Say hi to owners Chris and Erin for us when you meet them :)

NOT a coffee drinker however had a SkiSlope without the coffee in it. EXCELLENT!!! Tasted like a warm peppermint patty! Owner/operator was very polite and friendly. My husband made the mistake of getting a coffee at a previous place and wanted to kick himself. Looks like we’ll be stopping there again tomorrow morning!

This is a quirky little place. Reminds me of a college dorm gathering room. The«barista’ was really nice. Had the carribean coconut latte and it was delicious!

Chris and Erin make the best lattes in town! We discovered this shop on our first day in town, and made it a daily stop on our vacation. From raspberry cheesecake to salted caramel mocha, they have an array of flavors to make almost anything you want. A perfect way to warm up after a day of skiing!

This is a wonderful local coffee shop in Red River near the ski lifts. The owners and people working in the shop are wonderful and very hospitable. The selections of both coffee and other beverages are great. We went off-season and had a great experience.
