A huge disappointment. Went in there and got a BLT. It had a pitiful amount of bacon — about two slices. I asked if that was a normal amount and she told me it was and that I could buy more if I wanted to. I threw away my bread and lettuce sandwich and left.

Oriental chicken sandwich was good but turkey and avocado sandwich had pretty much no avocado spread on it. Disappointing considering I got that sandwich for the avocado. Overpriced. Clean establishment though and lots of sandwich options.

Slightly surprised that the reviews of this place are so critical! I was honestly so pleasantly surprised at the quality and price of this little shop. I also appreciated being able to support a local business, as opposed to going to Subway. The boyfriend and I both got the veggie sandwich and a cookie, which were SOGOOD. The bread was awesome, crispy on the outside but nice and bread-like on the inside. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I was sad when I finished my sandwich. The cookies were a wonderful finish to the lunch! Service was quick, though the staff was audibly tired of being there on a Saturday, which was a bit unprofessional. The food was great though, and I will absolutely go back the next time I’m in Red Wing!

You probably could get a very similar sandwich from Subway nearby. My BBQ Chicken came on chewy white bread, which could’ve been toasted. It’s an okay lunch place, when you cannot afford to wait in line @ Randy’s, i guess.

Decent but not revolutionary. Had the BBQ chicken sub on wheat bread. The chicken was moist and tasty, but did not have a strong BBQ flavor. The sandwich was served with onions, which were copious and a little odd texture-wise(i.e I wouldn’t necessarily put BBQ and onion together). There were so many choices of chips and cookies that it would be easy for one to experience«analysis paralysis», but that’s not a bad thing, particularly for savory snack lovers. Subhouse was clean, had ample seating and had speedy service. Overall, A-ok describes it well!

The white sub bread is always fresh and so very tasty. My sub is so perfect each time, that I get the same one over and over(avocado and Swiss). The cookies they have are so delicious! The place is always clean and the staff make the subs super fast! Comfy leather/wood booths and kinda funky/cool atmosphere. My rating would be five stars, if they packed the subs a little more with food. One or two times, the filling was scant, but maybe this depends on the worker. All in all, a solid 4 stars!

I ordered a sub, chips, and soda and walked out paying over $ 10. The food was really good, but not at that price. Prices have gotten out of control.

very decent. RW is lacking a jimmy johns so this place makes up for it… with a very jimmy johns type feel. fresh bread and meat.

Good MN Subway-style deli. Really delicious bread, and their meat seems to be about seven degrees better than the embalmed stuff at Subway. Good soup, as well, but the soup at the Red Wing Sub House is served crazy unnecessarily hot. Like«sue McDonad’s» hot. So hot that even after 10 minutes of blowing and stirring and blowing and stirring it’s still too hot to eat. Why is it in Red Wing restaurants feel that if the soup is not served so hot that it scalds your mouth that it’s not fit for humans? I spilled some Red Wing Sub house soup on my hand. It was like I’d dropped red-hot volcanic lava on it.
