Super simple restaurant, nice service, and every single item was excellent. A bit disappointing there was no option to purchase beer, but the taste and price was excellent.

I’ve been going to Racha noodle which is part of five Thais since 2005 the girls have never failed once they always have good customer service they care about all their customers they make sure everyone gets what they need they’re so sweet I keep coming back here over and over again they know exactly how I like my food there so pleasant to be around I feel like family here the food is so delicious!!!

This place might have recipes from 5 Thai’s but the food is bleh. A
The appetizers we ordered were chicken satay and spring rolls. They were very tasty. The chicken was juicy and flavorful.
As for the entrees, we ordered shrimp pad Se ew and chicken pad kee mao. They were horrible. It seemed that every ingredient was pre cooked separately and then reheated together with very minimal flavor. Aside from the spice in the chicken dish it was almost the same.
I have never had such bad food.

Definitely a bland scenery w/​in.
The food doesn’t hv WOW! Factor as in its not spicy even tho I ordered a dish spicy hot. Everything is made fresh to order and the service is adequate. Had the Thai tea which ws stellar, along w/​the Z Beef and a hot and spicy chicken dish served w/​rice in a star shape.
I’d go again however I wouldn’t say it’s in my top 5.

Ordered pad Thai and yellow curry. The yellow curry was pretty good… the pad thai was very bland. The service was good. I probably won’t be back, it was an underwhelming experience.

I cannot by any means call myself a Thai expert as I’ve only had it a handful of places. I ordered the Pad Thai. It was made surprisingly quick (although the resturaunt was not at all busy). The salad before had a delicious dressing! The dish itself was very tasty. I’m not a huge shrimp fan, but however they prepare theirs is great. And the portion was big! I’m rarely unable to finish a meal and this one had me stuffed. I felt the price was acceptable.

Amazing food! The people that run this restaurant are very nice and welcoming. One of my favorite restaurants in Redding.

The food is mediocre, my brothers and I stopped here for lunch, had: duck fried rice, duck over rice and I had the chicken curry. The lady that took our order seemed like she was in a rush even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. We sat down and it wasn’t but five minutes and she came back to ask what we wanted, she was rushing so I didn’t even know what came with the order and when the food came we had about 6 spring rolls (didn’t know we could chose from certain appetizers) oh well. Anyways the food was okay the service could be better. Maybe I’ll go back and give it another try whenever I’m in town.

My favorite food and my favorite ladies! The service and food never disappoints! I am vegan and they always specialize my tasty curry and soups! The curry is always the best choice here! Enjoy!

The nicest people that run 5 Thais! They are very sweet and always friendly to our kids! They make extra special items for the kids and the puppies! Very nice restaurant to come into or drive through! Highly recommended!

No issues with this place. Had to try it, in town for business. Place is small, clean, everyone is nice. Had the curry dish. D@MN really? Very nicely done. Hot and fresh, chicken was soft with just the right amount of curry spice. Id definately come backk when in town.

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. It’s so fresh and delicious we have eaten here twice in two days. I’m a vegetarian and the fresh rolls are absolutely some of the best food anywhere. My husband also lived the spring rolls. We’ve tried several things off the menu and have not been disappointed in anything. Eat here – you won’t regret it.

Worse pad Thai I have ever had! Rice noodles were mush! Dry with no sauce just sprinkled on curry! Chicken boiled and under cooked ! No flavor found here ! And after all this disappointment, they still charge you a lot to eat there mush!!! I’m not sure these ladies can cook at all! Got sick from food and didn’t eat more then a few bites as I could tell the chicken was under cooked.

I tried this place once four years ago and haven’t wanted to go back.
I did go back this week though, just to see. I got the Pad Thai for a change and it was so bland my friend was laughing at how much salt I was dumping on it. It was so bland. Too bad. Maybe the other dishes are better.
I’m going to stick to Janya’s or Champa Garden. I’ve had Thai in different states and countries and those two are bomb.

This is our go to place, sure the décor is a little plain but the food is always good and the two sisters that own it are very friendly, great service always satisfied

Very fresh spring rolls and green Papua salad (vegan friendly if you ask). spinach, broccoli peanut Togo was great. Highly recommend

There are moments sometimes when you walk into a restaurant and you wonder if the food is any good. This was how I felt. When I walked in, the restaurant looked very simple to me, almost felt like walking into a cafeteria. But boy looks can be deceiving!
I ordered the green curry. It came out in a timely manner and Less than $ 10! The curry tasted quite authentic and it was a good size too.
My vegetables in the curry was crunchy — not at all soggy. The same goes with the salad. It was actually good! Fresh and crunchy. Plus they sell Bubble milk tea!
I come to Redding a couple of time a year so I know now where to go when I’m in town.

First, we arrived 5 minutes after closing time, but she graciously accepted us anyway. I read Unilocal*reviews and was hesitant about eating here, but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty. It was a great value, too. Our salad fed me and my girlfriend, as did our soup and entre. We were both satiated AND we had enough leftovers for a lunch for one or both of us. And all for $ 26.
Now I can see other’s complaints about the ambiance. Very little has been invested, if any, into decorations or furnishings. A little music and a few posters of Thailand on the walls would be better, but it’s apparent to me that they’ve put all of their energy into the food. And I’m OK with that. So you get lots of great food at a very good price. What’s wrong with that?
