I ordered my sons BIRTHDAY CAKE HERE and I was soooooooo disappointed. I wanted lots of balloons and decorations .they no longer had chocolate mint so I ordered chocolate extreme andfor $ 31.50 I could have put a half gallon of Chocolate ice cream on a plate with a stale brownie in the middle and made a chocolate mistake. really very little frosting and two little tiny balloons so small. Well, when I left it out for the necessary time, to thaw, the brownie was still hard as a stale rock and the ice cream was all melting and running all over. i cut some for everyone but they all ate one or two bites and I knew I was doomed. i couldn’t even give it away. Later on I had a stomach ache from the cake and it may have been from a giant red hair we found in it. ugh

Good, friendly service. Very tasty grasshopper blizzard, strawberry sundae, & strawberry banana Orange Julius!

I forgot my purse there. They found it, locked it up, waited 24 hours, called a number in my purse, that person searched for my phone number, left a message here: I had my purse 90 minutes later (& I live 60 min. away)!

I know it was a little crazy with lunch time and all, still you managed to take good care of her. For being the manager she can do anything! DQ you guys hired the right person for the job! I cannot even begin tell/​explain how horrible this Dairy Queen is. It’s sad. I worked at Dairy Queen all throughout high school and parts of college, so I understand the collect the pay check and go. But this place is ridiculous. The workers do not care about the customer and have terrible customer service skills. They need to take a course on how to interact with customers.
Not only are they rude but all of them need to be retrained on how to make an ice cream cone. Also, when I ask for a hot fudge sundae, Yes! I actually want hot fudge! And please do not make my cone right when I order it. Maybe wait until I pull around. It takes a few seconds. What a waste of money and time. I wish I could meet the owner of this establishment because it has some serious kinks that it needs to work out. Please, work on your disappointing service. I’m surprised you still have business.

5 buck lunch deal is like eating old dog food. French fries are pretty good though, the ice cream tastes like McDonald’s and the burger that I was eating looked like a Big Mac. Now I just realized I’m reviewing the wrong place. Is there anyway you can forward this message to mcdondalds on east Cyprus. That place sucks!

Came here 13 years ago and swore I would never return. Broke my promise to see if things had changed. Dad decision. The dirt on the floor was just older. Ordered an ice cream cone (which is twice the price of McDonalds) and ran. Does Redding have an active Health Inspection department?

This place is awful! The waitress was very rude. I am not a person who frequents DQ. I ordered a banana split and requested strawberry, chocolate, and pineapple. She gave me a snarkey remark about how that is what always comes on it. After the order for 3 banana splits was made it took 20 minutes to receive them despite the fact that there was only one other table occupied and there were 3 waitresses working. The sad part is that it was noon on a Saturday. Needless to say I don’t think I will return.

They always take forever and seriously, with all the time they take they still forget to put in all the order. They need to hire more competent employees who actually remember to put the food in the bag.

I wish I could give a {-star} to this location. Came in to get a Blizzard but wanted to use the restroom facilities first. I can’t believe some high school aged girl questioned me if I had already purchased something first. REALLY, I am 64yrs old, dressed in business attire, I must look like some graffiti tagging punk or a homeless person looking to take a shower in the sink. So after the shock wore off I said I would order after I used the restroom. She must have been pretty low on the totem pole because she had to ask another high school aged girl if I could use the facilities. When I finished I returned the key and ordered the blizzard. A large one should hit the spot and calm me down. Ahh, just what I needed. But, after getting less than half way through I hit plain vanilla ice cream. Rats, they only mixed the top half. So I returned to the counter and was told by the totem pole climbing boss high school girl that she would not replace it, only give me a small one because I «ate» some already. What’s happened to customer service? I guess I paid for a 20oz Blizzard and thats all I was getting.
I beg all of you in Redding CA, boycott this place an you’ll be better off and the owners might review their training.

Sad excuse for a Dairy Queen… Sure it’s just a Diary Queen, and we shouldn’t be expecting much… But, hey! If you don’t mind having to mix your Blizzards yourself, or your fries tasting like they’re from 2001… to each his own.

If you think a review needs to be written complaining about the food, you’re dumb. OF COURSE the food is shitty. I haven’t eaten any of it, because gross.
The reason I continue to go once every couple of months is only because I can get Orange Julius here. I also bring my kids once in a great while for a cone since we live right up the road.
The service is beyond awful and the wait time is ridiculous EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I have literally watched some of the employees standing around making jokes and carrying on conversations with one another rather than do their job and make the drink or ice cream. It’s crazy the lack of pace for getting a soft serve out the drive thru window or over the counter. I have never seen a group of people take so long to do something so simple. Never.
I have, on two occasions, had an apathetic, almost stoned looking employee (different person each time, might I add) hand me an overflowing, melting cupful of an ice cream that was leaking ALL OVER. They just stared at me with blank, lifeless eyes and asked in a monotone voice ‘Did you need a lid?’

A month ago I would have given this DQ 4 stars on blizzard making but lately they have been so so with tonight’s being absolutely the worse. I would always get the small chocolate extreme with extras and damn they would go above and beyond with the goods… bringing the creation over to the window while pulling off the sleeve. .the ice cream would stick up another inch above the cup and start oooooozing down the sides. Damn good!!! But for the last 3 to 4 weeks no such luck. Your lucky if it’s less than an inch below the brim and tonight the brownie bites were terribly rancid… and lately I’ve noticed that the place is filthy dirty… come on what gives DQ???

Worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to… ask for a blizzard with chocolate ice cream. Instead I get what appears to be vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup mixed in, which resulted in a very runny blizzard. This has happened on several occasions. I emailed the manager and was told chocolate ice cream isn’t really on their menu but they offer it as a courtesy. Since when has it not been on the menu?! EVERY OTHER Dairy Queen I’ve been to has it and it’s on their ads. It sucks that this is the only one around here because we’re stuck with their incompetent, sub-​par version of DQ…

Every time I go there food is sub part and place is filthy. Last time food was cold and soda mix was off. Definitely needs new management.

Worst experience ever. Been going here for years and tonight was ridiculous. My chicken wrap had the tiniest piece of chicken I have ever seen and it was super dry. If I could rate this a zero I would have. Will never go back again. The staff was rude and incompetent tonight. Kept giving everyone the wrong items and snickering about it when they said something.

I ignore the food reviews from DQ because to me, you should’ve known.
The dipped cones are typically consistent, but my recent visit resulted in a slightly crooked cone that forced me to eat it faster than I would have liked. Small detail, but annoying and inconsistent with visits to other locations.
My main gripe was the watery blizzard I received upon a second visit. I’m not sure if the blizzard was just blended more than usual or the machine wasn’t ready, but upon receiving our blizzards over the counter, it looked like they sat in the blazing sun for 10 minutes before serving it to us.
We walked away thinking a McFlurry would’ve been a far better option that day.

Went to this Dairy Queen yesterday because we were shopping near by. Decided a blizzard sounded good and went inside to get some. We ordered 4 minis. The girl who took out order was nice but not very helpful. When it came time to make our blizzards that’s where their service became bad. It took over 20 minutes for us to get our order! The restaurant only had one other couple in it. While we were waiting on our order we noticed one of the male employees take an ice cream back from a customer in drive thru, I’m assuming they didn’t want it because it was incorrect. But before this employee threw it away he took a huge bite off of the top. That is totally unprofessional, disgusting, and unsanitary.
Our blizzards were sub par and so poorly presented. The ice cream was sloppily put into the cup and was melting all down the sides of the cup.
As this being my first experience at Dairy Queen, I was much less than impressed. I don’t see myself going back there ever again.

Ordered a firecracker chicken sandwich and it had the smallest drop if sauce
That I didn’t even taste it. The chicken was dry and over cooked. I’ll give it another shot but very disappointed

How could you not want a blizzard or cone at 11pm on a warm summer night.
DQ is a fast food joint like most but has plenty of seating and a flat screen w/​guitar hero.
They are always trying to improve and make it a more fun place to come down and hang out.
