Elks Lodge 1073

What an obnoxious organization! I was a member a couple years ago and dropped because of being treated very rudely by the «inner circle». Someone talked me into giving them a second chance recently and I rejoined. Wow! My guest was verbally abused by some «inner circle» person and I was accused of being intoxicated because I had the nerve to call people out on their behavior. Clearly this isnt the place for anyone who expects to be treated with respect after paying 200 dollars a year to join.
As a sidenote… I recently was a little embarrassed when someone told me how bad the bar service was at a wedding they attended there. I can only imagine how bad it was after being treated so badly as a paying member. Do yourself a favor and save your money. There is nothing here worth paying for that you can’t get elsewhere

One of the best places for community, RV parking, friends in Redding. They have a nice park like setting right by the river to park your RV. You can take a nice long hike or bike ride by the parks and along the Sacramento River. The Elks is a wonderful organization. Like a of fun activities. Great dinners and low priced drinks. We belong to the club in San Rafael but are welcomed in all of the Elks in the USA.

This is an amazing lodge located right on the Sacramento River. They have a pool & weight room (pretty full at that), sauna, & showers. Their RV space is great only thing missing is WIFI & dump. The members are awesome in fact I’m golfing with one today that I just met last night.

I read the negative comments below and completely disagree. Before joining the Elk’s, I had had done business with them. For example. I reserved the building for my wedding. Unfortunately, I had to cancel. During the whole process the office staff were professional. I am proud to be a member of Elk’s Lodge 1073. BPOE

So unprofessional! So many things went wrong at my sisters wedding. The people there are so rude, not helpful at all! The tables were supposed to be set up at 8am and no one was even there and they were not set up. Two weeks before their wedding they were told they had to pay full price (they were getting a discount because a family friend who is a member there paid for the venue). It was to late cancel and find another venue… Joe the groom left a review also for more information…

If I could do negative stars I would give the elks lodge a –100 stars! HORRIBLE SERVICE! I had my wedding here a few weeks ago and all seemed to be going well until their crappy C02 tank broke for the two kegs we had purchased, and paid the required gratuity for through the elks lodge. THEY were responsible for taking complete care of the kegs and then blamed us and told us that WE tapped them to early… WE never touched the kegs! We got about 2 beers out of them then nothing. 500 dollars down the drain, they tried to say they would pour beers from their bar tap but they ignored all of our guests and were extremely rude to people trying to get beer that WE paid for!!!
They other thing that really pissed me off is that I found out the next day my family (including my 70 year old grandparents) were told that they had to clean up everything before leaving even though we paid a cleaning fee. The spineless monkey running the office told me that «we can just walk away completely»…well apparently not!!!
We complained and complained but never got so much as a «sorry» or any sort of compensation
IF YOU HOLD YOUR EVENT HERE IT WILL BE A DISASTER!!!
