I’m not even going to get into why, I think most of the two and three star reviews say it all. I will never go back. Nice people though.

I have been to a lot of Jersey Mike locations. This one is by far the the worst one. The Redding location is just barely above subway and only because they cut everything in front of you. They also recently adjusted their sandwiches. They have thined the meat and cheese, and added more lettuce to keep the weight of the sandwich the same. The owner needs to step it up a lot. Actually the subway on hilltop is better and that’s pretty sad

I’m not sure the other reviewers on here fully comprehend the Jersey Mike’s way of doing sandwiches. Have you ever been to New Jersey? It’s loud, fast paced, expensive and filled with a variety of smells, both good and bad. The above description kind of fits Jersey Mike’s. Its loud, expensive and filled with smells. However, they got a good thing with their sandwiches, its simple and very fresh. The staff there are very outgoing and very easy to deal with. Helpful workers in Redding? I know, kind of hard to believe, but this place has it. Go in there a couple of times to see if you like it, one trip alone might not work.

Way overpriced for the size and quality. If you like lettuce, this is your place! Think they had only 3 – 4 toppings to choose from including tomatoes and iceberg. Never again oh well.

Place is nothing special. It’s a clean joint tucked into a strip mall with extraordinarily difficult parking arrangements. It’s sandwiches with fresh cut deli meat. They don’t have a lot of accoutrements like a Subway and having it «Mike’s way» is equivalent to drowning the said sandwich in red vinegar. The staff tends to be really young(which is awesome so don’t judge me as some curmudgeon) and can be heavy handed with the vinegar and oil, so keep a close eye. There’s not a big selection and when I asked to have it heated they said«all we have is a microwave» I was a little taken aback, but it’s a fresh sammie that will do in a pinch. The bread is fresh and the service is fine. They serve Pepsi products via the fountain. There is also tea(I have my doubts that it’s brewed but I’ve been wrong before). Doesn’t hurt to check it out, especially if you happen to be at the adjacent phone store or grocer.

decent food, great sweet tea! One lame customer service experience. To the blonde with the frizzy hair: don’t blame a customer for your mistake. Just apologize and fix it. Blaming a customer drives them away for life. Fixing one sandwich with a smile and an apology keeps ‘em coming back for more.

Probably the best sandwich shop in town. Get the Club Mikes way and you can’t go wrong or any or the cheese steaks

The girl who worked the cash register and did the fixings in the sandwiches was rude. Her name was Sara. I watched as she took the lettuce that fell on the counter and put it back into the lettuce bin and then dumped it all onto new lettuce. When I told her I didn’t want the lettuce that was on the counter she started slamming things down and was very short. When I asked her to input our phone number it was like I had asked her for $ 1000. She threw the receipt at us and turned away. The blond girl with the curly hair and the other brunette were very professional and I will come back if I get them to help me.

One of the Best sandwich shops in town. Try the 99 it’s not on the menu but it is like a Philly but with jalapeños. Very good!

Very good sub but over priced for the area Almost what one would pay for a full service restaurant Shame on you

To me this was a cross between a local deli and a Subway. Ingredients were fresh, they carve the meat to your order, but no real bread choices. I will return since I found a local one about 2 miles away from home. Prices are fair.

I don’t know why the reviews are low on this place. The food is always good. I’ve had the original Italian and the club sub. Both are awesome! Everything is clean and all the meat and cheese is fresh sliced. The sandwiches are huge. A regular size is almost too much for one sitting. Recommending the mini unless you’re super hungry.

Basic sandwich shop I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and it almost tasted like they used water on the flat top with the bell peppers and onions. Made my sandwich somewhat soggy. The Meat was alright but having the soggy bread kinda ruined it for me.

Yum, this place is great. I prefer Jersey Mike’s over other sandwich shops like Subway because when you walk in, it actually smells delicious inside. All the products taste really fresh and I like that it is lighter(they use vinegar instead of mustard and mayo) and is still full of flavor. I got the mini sandwich and it was the perfect amount of food. I took my mom here for the first time and she got a wrap, which she loved as well.

I agree with the 1 – 2 star reviews. Jersey Mike’s has the fewest options regarding sandwich fixins and, apparently, only 1 type of bread to choose from(do you want white bread or white bread?) out of all the sub/sandwich shops I’ve been to in Redding. So, I’m comparing this place to a ton of other places(Subway, Turboz, Brick’s, Holiday Market deli, TBLSS, From the Hearth, Quiznos — before it closed). While the sandwiches off of the«hot sandwiches» menu section look promising, I’d stay away from the sandwiches that emphasize vegetables because you’ll basically get an iceberg lettuce sandwich(barely noticed the slices of tomato and bell pepper there). Unfortunately, this is the only sandwich choice for vegetarians. Needless to say, it was over-priced at over $ 6. Finally, I think a warning is in order about what it means to say«yes» to the«Mike’s way» option — complete drenching of the sandwich in «juice»(a combination of olive oil, red wine vinegar, pepper, etc.). It’s safe to say that most of us don’t expect to get a soggy sandwich… so perhaps a sign at the counter which explains what this option is *exactly* will help people know what to expect and, at the same time, help Jersey Mike’s Unilocal rating.

I don’t know why this place gets more than one star, my sandwich didn’t have much flavor and all i could taste was the red vinegar. This place is nothing special and to me is just like subway except they have Philly cheesesteaks. If you want an amazing sandwich you have to try Dill’s Deli.

We had never heard of Jersey Mike“s until they came to town. As soon as they opened we gave them a try, and we are so glad that we did. Jersey Mike’s meats, cheeses, vegetables, and bread could not be any fresher and they slice it all right in front of you. Customer service is a huge priority with me and theirs is spot on, fast, friendly, and consistent. Plus they will make your sandwich any way you want them to, using any combination of ingredients. My husband usually stops by on his way home and picks up our sandwiches. The second he walks in the door they know his order and begin getting it ready. Everything they serve is delicious, but we created the combination we love best and order it every time. If you are in the mood for a fresh and delicious sub, and crave excellent customer service go to Jersey Mike’s.
