Service was quick and good. Had the fried pickles and a Cobb salad. He fried pickles were very good. They were very accommodating with my dessert and offered to put it in different containers so it would still be good.

We avoided this place for almost two years after moving to Redding because of bad reviews on Unilocal.sorry we did!!! The steak was the best seasoned steak I’ve had in years. Service was also absolutely excellent!

This place was awful. Bartenders ignoring the patrons. Not busy, but bartenders not interested in clearing old drinks and dishes. Will never go back.

I really hate to leave a bad review but the last few times we have been here the service was horrible. We sat there forever before our drinks came, took even longer before we got our order taken. She tried to walk away before all of our orders were even taken! Dont know what was up with this girl? Off day? Had to ask for a soda twice before she brought it. Same with a side of ranch. Asked her twice to refill the soda. She kept saying sorry that she forgot. Food took over 45 minutes(which isnt the servers fault). But the food was really good. Server got one of our orders wrong but we ate it anyway because we knew how long it would take to fix. They werent very busy. Or maybe there was only one server for the whole place? Who knows. The hostess ended up picking up her slack. Bathrooms were gross. Its really unfortunate because this used to be my favorite restaurant. Probably wont be back for a while. And definitely wont be recommending it. If the food didnt make up for the horrible service, I wouldnt have even been back this time. Good job kitchen.

Came on a Saturday night around 5:30, family of four, had been traveling down I5 for some time and were tired and ready for a break. Waited 15 minutes for seating, and were given a pleasant and attentive server. The beer, bread and salads were prompt, the meal was neither timely nor tasteful. For $ 60 for a family of four I’d rather have eaten something of quality and made fresh, not reheated and sloshed in sauce for flavor. Might be great for a group wanting large beers and bar style appetizers, but definitely wasn’t worth stopping for dinner. We won’t be back.

In this town for a few days for work. Decided to check out this place because I’m staying at the hotel located directly next to this restaurant. Extremely nice hostesses. I don’t usually eat rolls, but since they made a big deal about it, I decided to try one. Their yeast rolls are legit! Food overall was pretty good.

Tried to order dinner to be picked up by entrée express. Ashley answered the phone and when I told her I wanted an order to go, she let out a very bothered sigh and rudely told me to hold. After terminal hold I hung up and ordered food from a place that was happy to have my business.

Three of us went there for lunch. The service was poor. We were greeted promptly, given menus and brought water. Then we didn’t see our server for 10 minutes! And only after we requested she come take our order. We were brought rolls that were awful. Tough and not like the usual light, tender yeast rolls we come here to enjoy. When our food finally arrived, the French dip sandwiches were cool and the au jus was only luke-warm. We discovered mushrooms on the sandwiches, and had to ask for one to be re-made without mushrooms. By the time the replacement sandwich arrived, our lunch hour was over. Sandwich was COLD, cheese was cold, unmelted. We refused it & asked to have it removed from the bill. So one of us left with no lunch! Server wasn’t even apologetic! We won’t go back.

The food is good. It’s a little weird walking into a restaurant with nutshells all over the floor, however, that is the type of environment they are aiming for. I went in with a group of 8 and considering the fact we had so many people, they sat us extremely fast. I ordered the French dip and the wait wasn’t to long, however, the plate presentation was messy. Our server, Ashley, was Amazing she forgot a few things, but she was on top of it and did her job well. Unfortunately I won’t be coming back because I don’t live around here, however, I would recommend to try it at least once. It’s a hole in the wall place but it is worth your time.

Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had, and if you’ve read my other reviews, you’ll know I’m picky when it comes to smoked ribs! Love that they managed to achieve laid back atmosphere without sacrificing service. Love the idea of throwing on the floor the shells of unlimited free peanuts.

I was craving a good ribeye so we stoped at Logan’s Roadhouse. The service was so slow. We were seated and it took 20 min before anyone came by and asked us for our drink order. Then she forgot what we ordered and the manager came and asked us again what we wanted. Then after ordering it took one hour to just get our salad. Oh did I mention they had no ribeye steaks, so I settled for sirloin with onions on top not a good choice for the money. It was not really seasoned and was so so like a steak you get at IHOP. My husband order a medium well new your strip and he was not happy, they served it Med rare he had to send it back. Over all I was disappointed will not be back, if you are craving a good steak pick somewhere else.

First off, I’d give this place 3 ++ stars. We were in Redding visiting my daughter and wanted dinner at a ‘local’ steakhouse. Came her on a Saturday 8 pm. The big barrel of peanuts in the lobby reeled us in. Peanuts everywhere. Throw the shells on the floor! Memories of my college days at the pubs in Berkeley. Full bar with great beers that arrive in huge mugs. The kid ordered a bacon cheeseburger with the works and onion petals(think blooming onion petals). Me and the hubs ordered the prime rib(special on the weekend). Cooked to perfection. My only complaint with the meal was the ‘loaded baked potato’ that had been put in a warming oven, thus the toppings were too warm. ya don’t want melted sour cream. The service, atmosphere and music were great. Country all the way.

Service and burgers where very good. However the place needs s good cleaning. The bathrooms are under cared for. The floors are worn etc. hope owners spend a little to spruce it up. I like the place.

I’m still not done with Redding, California, that city forty-five minutes outside of Mount Lassen. Let’s say you’re out at night, haven’t eaten, and need something to do around here. Lemme tell you. Make a «Logan’s» run if you like Texas BBQ and be ready to stuff yourself silly. This is the kind of romp that has peanut shells all over the floor, and unbroken peanuts you can eat out of a pail. Start up with why-not peanuts, butter bread, fried onion petals, a beer pint, la la la, dance in your seat… then do meatloaf, or chicken mesquite, or Harris Ranch steak, or pork chop, or catfish. Actually, don’t do catfish. The waitress said her family tried it and it was no good. I know that was supposed to be confidential. I ate like three different types of potatoes, by the way. I know I could have gone mac n’ cheese or grilled vegetables of some sort as a side, but I like potatoes, potatoes, potatoes. See this place as either a refuge for indulgence or a descent into self-punishment, depending on whether or not you over eat. I over ate, and still asked for that Mississippi Mud cake. Ice cream cake or pie. I don’t know what it was. I was on the toilet a long time the next morning. I regret nothing, I’d do it all over again. #bustabutton

I fell for it again! Another corporate shitty food venue. The service was great, Stephanie was cute, friendly and articulate. The food on the other hand was so less than middle of the road. I paid $ 22 for a T-bone steak that I could have gotten for $ 6 at Waffle House. Truly a way subprime cut. I was up sold on the crumbled Bleu cheese. It was obviously not good to start with. It appeared as if the Exxon Valdez had yet another spill, this time on my over priced shitty corporate steak. They cooked it medium, let it sit and then put the Bleu cheese on top. The cheese was no longer cheese and my steak was not hot, nor were my smashed taters. Never again at a Lonestar, Logan’s Roadhouse or the like. Now my wallet and butthole hurt… Fuckers!

I go to Logan’s when I’m in Redding on business. I have been to several in other states including TX. I sit mostly in the bar. This is by far the best of any Logan’s bar that I have been to. The bar tenders are extremely friendly and work hard to please the customers. The food is the standard chain menu. All the food came out hot, cooked right and timely. If your expecting a high quality steak like one cooked at a landmark steak house you might be disappointed. I come from the little known BBQ capital of the western US(Santa Maria). I’m a tough critic of steaks, Unilocal Jocko’s in Nipomo, CA if you want to find the best steak at any restaurant. That being said, this Logan’s is probably the best steak from a chain in Redding.

Peanut allergy death zone. If you have an arch enemy who has a serious peanut allergy and you intend to «off» them, this is your place! Buckets and buckets of peanuts, shells, half-eaten peanuts everywhere! I don’t recall seeing a warning on the door or a separate entrance to the anaphylaxis room, but you’ve been warned — DONOTSTEPFOOTIN Logan’s Roadhouse IFYOUAREALLERGICTOPEANUTS!!! Otherwise, service is okay, food is okay… overall, not bad. The restaurant is a bit worn — owners need to spend a few bucks on maintenance. 3 stars. Note to management: aside from the peanut warning and doing some general maintence on the building, please stop showing cuts of meat in the glass case at the entrance — it’s so 80’s-90’s.

I loved getting $ 4 off of $ 20 or more ordered by using their app. The service was great! The young ladies took great care of us. I had the filet 5 oz. steak with a sweet potato and grilled zuchini. The steak was made well done and very tender. The grilled zuchini was really good! I ordered some drink that came in a HUGE glass! I don’t remember what it was, but there was a lot of it! Wow! Next time I’m in Redding I’ll certainly stop by Logan’s. Y’all know how to treat folks right. Thanks! :)
