We were considering this place as a landing spot in Redding, until we could look for a home to buy. These people had us give them $ 800 (a security deposit) before they even processed our application for one of their «homes.» The money orders weren’t going to be cashed until they officially offered us a place and we accepted, or we could get the money orders back. Unfortunately for us, they stamped their name on the money orders promptly after receiving them, and we chose to rent a house in Redding, so by stamping their name on money orders for a place they hadn’t even processed our application for, they rendered the money orders useless elsewhere and were not willing to then keep them and refund us. They cost us $ 80 plus a $ 30 fee, and they only had the money orders for a few days before we told them we would be living elsewhere. they hadn’t even processed our applications.
