What a gem in Redding, nothing like it. Great shows with allot of heart. It’s great to support local art organizations, thanks for the great entertainment…

Hard to draft a review on a play like thus. Hardly from main stream professionals. And there wasn’t anything riverfront about this place. but we had plenty of room for coming in after first curtain call. Almost reminded me of a high school play. Most Importantly to me, each and every actor seemed to appreciate and take on their role with gusto. It was my first visit to such a tiny homespun play. But I enjoyed it thoroughly and I appreciated all the sexual innuendoes. Not so blatant, just a tease. Now if I can only remember the name… Leading Ladies!!!

I caught«To Kill a Mockingbird» here recently and don’t have much else to add that has not already been said. It’s a small but comfortable theater, and they put on a great performance! The location and parking area is obscure even when you’re heading westbound on Cypress(such that the theater is on your right). So, map it out beforehand and slow down a bit after crossing the nearest cross street in order to find the place without getting flustered!

A Bench in the Sun — We went the other night. The location is a little daunting. If you have not been there before, best to do a drive by beforehand which we did not do. It’s on the left on Cypress as you drive east from I-5. Small portable sign on the street. Narrow driveway between buildings which are industrial style businesses. The venue: two rather small seating areas. The ticket side and the bar side as they call them. The performance: Very small staging area with which they use well. Show starts at 7:30. The dialog is wonderful. An excellent performance. We will become supports.
