In Redding choose some other internet service than Clear Wireless. I switched from Charter cable internet to Clear and regretted my decision. At the time Charter service badly needed upgrading and Clear seemed to be about equal in speed. But I never got more than three bars on my Clear modem in three different locations in Redding, one only a mile from the downtown tower. Youtube paused continually. A couple of years later and Charter had upgraded their system twice but Clear never upgraded once! Charter is now blazingly fast compared to Clear.
If Shastacom sells you Clear Wireless, make sure you can return it and get something else or get a refund if you get less than 5 bars at your location.
