Lucky to have a kitchen store that rivals Sur la Table and William Sonoma in a town such as this. The women that work there are super knowledgeable, and fun. Thank you for being here!

shout out for Chef Pam — what a fun learning exercise today. today was lesson on all about sauces. she made class fun, entertaining and included munchies to share in all the diff sauces made today. I signed up for the stuffing of rav’s in jan. as for the kitchen store part. lotsa trinkits/​gadgets, etc. but also lots of higher quality pots/​pans, dishes & decorator items. fun place to brouse & shop for unique items.

Pretty surprised at what people define as «good» I found the staff to be condescending, unhelpful and arrogant. If I heard the woman behind the counter say «I’m from New York» and «genre» one more time I was going to be sick. The prices aren’t the issue to me it’s all about attitude. Just my opinion.

The cooks’ toy store!
Lots and lots of kitchen gadgets… everything from cooking to baking and in between! Linens, aprons, wine glasses and accessories… all sorts of sizes and shapes for baking pans, decorating tips, spatulas, cupcake everything… books, knives, bbq gadgets… If there is a cook in your life, they will definitely want to visit this store!
The staff is super friendly and they will make you a cappacino while shopping :)
The prices are really reasonable, cheaper than sur la table… I only wish there was one of these stores back in my home town!

Very well stocked with an excellent selection. Both my wife and I have purchased numerous times. Now at Christmas time they even went out of there way to gift wrap for me. Just an overall pleasant experience. Oh, it does get busy in there so I recommend going early.

Wow I feel so lucky to have such an incredible place to find the perfect gift for everyone including myself. Just moved to Redding and love food and all the beautiful utensils and gadgets that go with it. I have been to similar stores in the bay area and this store blows me away! I feel the prices are good for the quality merchandise this store sells. Can’t wait to check out the cooking classes Like the beautiful Sundial Bridge in Redding if you love to cook this is a must see!

I really love That Kitchen Place. The ladies are all very knowledgeable about their products. I agree that some of the things are a bit overpriced. I bought a Zyliss garlic press for about $ 13 and it fell apart in less than 2 months! Bummer. I am going to try to return it for a replacement. They have some specialty items necessary to a true gormet pantry. I like variety of items they carry and I can always find a really nice gift. They also carry woods to use in a smoker! Not always easy to find. I will be back and I would definitely reccommend the place to a friend! Nice work ladies…

This place gets 3 stars for good variety and selection. It gets only a middling review overall, though, because some of the selection is overpriced crap. Nonetheless, it is good to have a local alternative to places like Target and…*gulp*…WalMart.
