Those of you that don’t know Brittany and Julie have open their own shop for all of us to continue having great brows. So have no fear when the waxing lounge is shut don’t please follow Brittany and Julie over to their new shop. It’s called Gild Beauty Bar on Hiltop.

Finding a good place to get waxed can be hard. Well, at least that has been my experience. I am so glad that I found this place! I had The Basic (brows and lip). Julie did an awesome job. This place is cute, clean, the staff are friendly and seem to love what they do. Reasonably priced as well. I love that they are a local business. They are located downtown which is also a great plus for me. Don’t settle for a mediocre waxing at some of these other chains in town. Waxing down right makes all the difference!

My daughter got her brows done today. They are perfect. No issues. Perfect shape. Love the shop. Loved Brittany! Thank you.

I am a stickler for the details and The Waxing Lounge nails them all. I have super sensitive skin and in the past have not been able to get waxed because it irritated my skin so bad. Long gone are those days as they use quality products in everything they do, not to mention having the best atmosphere you could hope for! It’s like coming over to your girlfriends house and getting five star treatment while you wax away and debate whose husband is nerdier! Serious girl time happens here because the owner has brought in a team of consummate professionals. I will only go to Brittany Baer for my services but trust her when she says I could visit any of their waxers and receive the same stellar treatment! You cannot beat The Waxing Lounge! Thank you Brittany for your attention to detail, thoroughness, and the fact that you can make anything fun! I won’t go anywhere but here!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Shannon and all the girls I have met at The Waxing Lounge. So friendly, professional and always amazing service. I drive almost 2 hours to get waxed by the best and get compliments all the time and yes, even stopped in Chipotle ;). I would and do recommend them all the time.

Love this place. Shannon the owner is amazing and so are all the ladies she has working there. Meghan C has done my brows a few times and I have always loved them. Trust me, you will not go anywhere else after you visit these ladies. :)

If you are the last person in the North State who hasn’t heard about The Waxing Lounge, you’re welcome. You now have no need to go anywhere else. Shannon and her team are exceptional, well trained and HILARIOUS! Your eyebrows will be better than they ever have been in your life, and you will leave having made a new friend. Not only has Shannon done my eyebrows for years, I’ve also had body waxing done. It is always professional, and somehow still… fun! Believe it. You can thank me later.

Shannon is a dream. Not only does she wax your brows, but she listens to your heart! She is gold through and through. I went to her consistently when I lived in Redding and have since moved to the east coast — can not find anyone that matches her perfection. Sarah R, maybe your daughter has sensitive skin, everybody’s skin reacts differently to waxing. Did you bother to speak with the owner? She’s lovely and surely would have helped. The thing that really stands out to me, is a parent that takes their teen daughter to be body waxed for prom! Forget the minimal waxing issue, that’s questionable parenting. Did you hand your daughter’s date an invitation and a box of condoms too? Body waxing for a teen girl for prom… great idea mom!

My life has been a little crazy lately and it has been almost 2 months since I have been in and I still get compliments on my eyebrows almost daily! The girls here are so sweet and they carry amazing skin care product from Dr. Dennis Gross!

The one and only place I will get my brows done. Amazing product and even better staff. Not only are they personable and truly care about your brows, but they are you quickly feel like family there! I highly recommend The Waxing Lounge for all waxing and other beauty needs! Shannon (the owner) is invested in the Redding community and she treats her clients like family! Let me begin by saying– I never write Unilocal reviews. I read them, but I never write them. So it’s saying a lot that The Waxing Lounge is getting my first Unilocal review.
It’s simple, I LOVE The Waxing Lounge. Shannon is the one who first waxed by brows, and I will follow her wherever she goes. Not only does she do an AMAZING job, but she makes my day better just by being around her. She’s so upbeat and friendly, truly cares for you, and makes you feel like you are the most important thing sitting in her chair. I now live in Texas, and I do not let anyone wax my brows until I come back home to Redding to visit so that Shannon can do them. Long story short, go to The Waxing Lounge, you won’t be disappointed!

Shannon at the waxing lounge is the best there is! I live in LA now and don’t let anyone other than Shannon do my brows. I am so thankful she offers brow tinting because that has been the best solution ever for my busy life! If you haven’t had you brows tinted you def need to try it!!!
The waxing lounge also offers body waxing, Brazilians, lashes (lash extensions)!!!
If you live near Redding CA you shouldn’t let anyone else touch your brows!
