I wanted to switch from another carrier to Verizon. I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 but Verizon told me I would have to upgrade to the S4 phone. I did and they transferred my contacts, files and photos to the new phone. The only trouble is only a few contacts and photos and no files transferred. When I went back for help, they told me that they wiped clean the old phone and could no longer help me. Maybe the kiosk doesn’t have the equipment like T-Mobile store has for transferring all files and contacts. Consider this a warning to you. Backup your old phone before buying a new phone. I wish someone had warned me in advance.

Unbelievable! I gave Verizon my phone number three days ago and requested a phone call from a supervisor. None has arrived. I have waited and waited. Unbelievable. My husband says to just use the money up and then tell everybody I know and people I don’t know that they will only refund any money if you use a credit card, no cash or checks. I called them and just said, «I want you to turn my phone off.» The answer was, «You will lose the $ 44.55 on your account» «Are you telling me that you will keep money that you have not earned, not provided service for?» «I will not keep your money maam.» «Of course you won’t, I was referring to you as the spokesperson for Verizon, not to you personally.» OMG what kind of people have our credit card, password and social security numbers? Do not trust Verizon. Try Metro instead — or any other telephone service, for that matter.
