A few thoughts to share on my recent experience with Culinary Impression’s 2 Hour In Home Cooking Class: July’s In Home Cooking Class menu included Grilled Duck Breast with Peaches. Never did I imagine that the preparation for this main course dish would involve my guests in the hands on experience of butchering the duck! Talk about a cooking class experience! The ambitious 3 course menu incorporated the teaching of the art of sauté, butchery, grilling, seasoning, poaching, plating, and even learning the art of creating Cream Anglaise To say that the fine ingredients that were brought into my home, the many sauces we prepared as a team, the preparation tips and tricks shared by Chef Jeremy in a most cordial, patient and relaxing manner met the expectations of this host is a HUGE understatement! Even the kitchen was left cleaner than the chef found it! All 3 courses prepared were ambitious, tasted wonderful, and left all involved with a terrific sense of culinary accomplishment! The ability Chef Jeremy has to engage everyone in the cooking experience, even in the small work area provided, is exceptional. If you love food and wish to enhance your cooking techniques in an atmosphere of fun invite your friends and Chef Jeremy over for a terrific culinary adventure!
