Hello all. First of all I am not sure about the other reviewer about it being expensive. A bucket of draft, now Labatts, Bud and Bud light, is 4 for $ 9. Thats $ 2.25 for a 16 oz draft. And this is a dive bar that serves as the local neighborhood working man/​woman. Most of the bartenders are nice, quick to serve. The food is pretty damn good too. Hamburgers are from GFS. 50 cent sliders on Sat., Sunday is 2 coneys for a buck, the chili is made there on cite and Monday is 2 soft tacos for a buck. Taco meat is made on site too. Yes the place has its strange patrons, But for being a mile away from a very rough part of Detroit its not bad at all. I have been going here for over 15 years and always have a good experience.

Just moved to the area and are looking for a neighborhood bar. Came in on a quiet night. Hubby and I were one of 4 people in the bar. Bud Select and Mich Light are the two draft options (yuck!). Thought of staying for a second beer until getting creepered by a weirdo (who apparently just got out of rehab). At least for as crappy as it was, it should have been cheap– it wasn’t.
Sorry Gabby’s, but I don’t think we’ll be returning.
