This is hands down the worst Kroger I have ever been to. Expired food on the shelves, the complete lack of merchandise found at nearly every other Kroger store, luke-warm to straight-up rude employees, not to mention the store itself is filthy. 150% worth it to drive the extra couple miles to 5 and Merriman to go the Kroger there.

I frequent this Kroger because it is near my house but it needs serious improvements despite their recent«make over.» 1. There is not a visit where I don’t see old and brown meat on the shelf or packages of meat where the plastic wrap is torn. 2. Watch the expiration date on everything, especially dairy products. I’ve purchased cheese six months expired, cottage cheese two weeks expired and coffee a year expired. 3. The other customers are more friendly than the staff. Although today a nice guy stacking eggs asked me if I needed help finding anything which was very nice. 4. The store consistently looks poorly maintained. You’ll see foods that customers just lay anywhere. It’s important for staff to walk around and put these items back. Especially those that are from frozen or refrigerated sections of the store. 5. Check your produce carefully. The quality of taste has been lacking on fresh fruit. You’ll also see apples that get that dingy dull look when they’ve been out for days. 6. Don’t let cashiers who can’t scan a coupon tell you it’s illegal to take those that don’t scan because that is not true. Pure laziness. Take my comments for what they are worth. Although a majority of my visits have been poor, I do have the occasional positive experience.

This Kroger scares me a little bit. The first time I went there, I had just moved to the neighborhood and popped in for some last minute Thanksgiving ingredients. The lights were out, except for a few dim overhead lights. I thought they were closed when I pulled up, but they were open. The parking lot is always dark and I’ve seen trash in the shopping carts. The last time I was there, every carton of eggs I picked up was dripping, which i pointed out to the guys stocking shelves nearby. They seem to have less to offer than other Kroger stores. I know they’re remodeling right now, so I’m looking forward to improvements. We’ll see…

It’s ok… Bottle returns are always crowded in the morning and afternoon; just wait until after 7pm or 8pm. Fastest way to checkout us self checkout.
