Love this place. I try to resist the urge to buy all the things, rather unsuccessfully

I was very surprised when I walked into this store. It had a wide variety of comic books from DC to Image, and Marvel to dark horse. It also had a really good selection. Not only did it have recent comic books and graphic novels but it also had some older ones as well. I loved this store and definitely hope to come back again.

Definitely a great place to go to get pop vinyls, comics, graphic novels or other movie and comic related stuff. Everytime I get great help from people who know so much shout everything they carry. Hands down one of the best comic book stores on the IE

This place is great a lot of cool toys, comics books. I couldn’t give it five star though because the ppl who work there sometimes just ignore you and you’re standing there to check out and it’s like you’re disturbing them with the exception of like 2 ppl who work there and are personable. Also they have cool shirts but very limited on sizes. They should order more of the popular styles like batman or starwars right after after a movie comes out knowing it is going to be a big seller to provide a better experience in that aspect.

This place is great! Ever since they were comic quest to now. One of my favorite this is how they put my comics in the sleeve upside down because that way I know what I read and didn’t read: D Great place and always recommend people to come here!

The staff knows me by name and they noticed I like deadpool so they added Deadpool comics to my subscription list without telling me and it was the nicest surprise! They really do a great job at making it a personal experience, and they are great with answering questions.

The comic shop formely known as Comic Quest! Or at least thst is what they would be known as if they were an American rock music icon that didn’t get along with their record label. Instead, what we have is an Inland Empire mainstay that has undergone a bit of a makeover that has mostly been for the better. Gone are the multitude of back issues, the X-Men vs Street Fighter arcade machine and the bright neon signs. In their place you will find a subdued, rustic aesthetic that gives the place a bit of boutique charm. Simply stated, this is the kind of comic shop that is meant to entice non-geeks and geeks alike as opposed to the old décor which loduly proclaimed«Geek haven, right here!!» The new setup(I use the term«new» loosely as the shop relocated a few years ago) is very organized and easy to navigate with no prior knowledge of the shop’s layout. It shouldn’t take more than a few seconds to locate the collectibles, the posters, the shirts or the comics. And speaking of collectibles, I’d estimate that about 1⁄3 of the store is occupied by Funko Pop figurines, DC Collectibles, statues, shirts and posters. If you wish to expresss your inner geek in as outward a manner as possible, this shop will likely have something to accomodate your particular fandom. The only real drawback to A Shop Called Quest is the meager offering for back issues. Most of the stock for back issues are for recently published books(within the last five or so years), so you’ll be hard pressed to find books from the 90s let alone the silver or golden age. For that, you’re better of taking the long trip to Frank and Son. Otherwise, the new shop is still a fantastic place to snag the latest books or pick up a cool collectible.

Extremely clean and the dudes working there were extremely nice and helpful. Maybe because I told them I was from out of town? Everything is priced higher than normal but all comic stores are, and they deserve to be for the collection they have. If you want normal price, SHOPONLINE. I’ll def. be back.

I regret I don’t have the budget to buy one of everything here. But the staff is knowledgable and helpful, up to date on both indie and mainstream comics and a great selection of graphic novels and manga for you to catch up on. Clean, organized, and inspiring. A small selection of role playing game items, as well, and some great action figures. A must-visit every time I go to Redlands

You know, I wish I live around the area, I would probably be here every day no lie. This is the comic shop I like to step into without having to be looked head to toe, and without being judged by your comic of choice or if you have some inquiries. I like that I don’t feel awkward when I walk in here. Instead, they have people willing to discuss and help you with your needs. They sell a vast collection of comics and graphic novels, t-shirts, collectibles, manga, and even art! Tip: There’s a public parking area right across the street, if you can’t find any parking, but you have to walk from there to the shop which is not that long of a distance.

A Shop Called Quest is the sweetest store ever. Always have the best merch and I have to say it’s one of my top five places to shop. Featuring local artist and having new items on top of events this store knows how to keep loyal customers. Staff is always helpful and all I can really say is if you haven’t shopped here and you like any or all things fandom/geeky/awesome you’re truly missing out. I never leave the store empty handed. PS. Even on IG they’re cool and always post what’s new in stores or special events.

I love this place. Unlike other stores, they don’t make you feel like you’re being stalked until you buy something. You are totally free to browse and explore without feeling pressured into a sale. However, that doesn’t mean that the staff isn’t helpful, because they are very helpful when you actually need it. For example, I am incredibly short, and also incredibly stubborn when it comes to asking for help. This combination makes it a little difficult to reach books that are on the very top shelf. One of the staff noticed me stubbornly struggling right away and offered to get the book I wanted down and put it away too. So don’t in any way feel that their laidback approach to customer service means lackluster service. In terms of selection, the large space allows for them to include plenty of collected volumes, monthly issues, figurines, shirts, posters, etc. Everything is well organized and easy to find, but if you have trouble, you can always ask and the staff will help you find what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for suggestions, the employees can definitely come up with some suggestions based in what you like. All in all, this is a great shop and I always enjoy every visit here.

My favorite comic shop for years. So much better than their previous location a block away. More space to walk around and not cluttered at all. Staff recognizes me as I walk in and already has my saved comics pulled.(I’m a member. Membership has it’s perks too so ask about it up front.) Always enjoy going there. Great atmosphere. Great staff. 5 stars.
