They did not refund when I reported the Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo burned my scalp, and caused a skin infection. I had to have a biopsy, shave my hair, etc… Neither Cosmo Prof nor Paul Mitchell Co refunded… Neither cared one bit. I was told that I was the 1st report. Lie. I discovered that in FL, 2003, TV News report 10 reported: Bacteria too numerous to count. Paul Mitchell Co blamed stores such as Walgreens: claiming diversion. There never was any diversion. Walgreens e-mailed me that all Paul Mitchell products have all been bought directly from Paul Mitchell and delivered by them. So, we have a case of FRAUD. Why is Paul Mitchell Co pretending fake diversion? To blame others when the products are contaminated? Salons are used to promote the products… Do hairdressers really know if the overpriced products are any better than dollar products? Tea Tree is an allergen, an irritant. It causes allergy. The container says good to use every morning. That is problematic. Tea Tree is THE #1 reported botanical cause of dermatitis. Tea Tree has volatile components that change by batch, heat, humidity, etc… Skin Deep(online) has Tea Tree marked as 5 for hazardous. That is quite high. The Dermatologist said that he’d NEVER recommend that anyone ever use Tea Tree shampoo as it is an allergen. Not every morning… Not ever! If you have problems with products, you should contact the Food & Drug Administration and the State Attorney General and then, immediately after that, an attorney. Cosmo Prof sign is still up… However, they claim to now be Beauty Systems Group, LLC. When a business does not refund, and there is a guarantee on the container… what does this say about them? I never will purchase any Paul Mitchell products ever again. Their superior attitude and the discoveries… have me as burned as my scalp. I have decided to never squander my money on any overpriced products ever again. The 99 cents Store has shampoo. If salons did not generate profit from selling overpriced products, would they promote these brands? How do they compare to dollar items? The Paul Mitchell dog shampoo did not even compare at all with the 5 other tried products. That was a waste of money. My friend used the pomade(Brillantine) from the 99 cents store and it was great. So, why would anyone spend 15 times more for the same thing? I asked myself why on earth did I ever start wasting hard earned money and buying these overpriced products… Did I ever even compare with lower priced items? Becoming a hairdresser, one«falls» into the false belief… It is sort of part of the job… «Part of the Industry»… Well, time to get real. Brainwashing is over. Burned, but wide awake now.

This is by far the best beauty supply I’ve been too! Their staff is so friendly and helpful. They know they’re product and color lines really well. Great customer service which is so hard to find these days.

I have been shopping at this CosmoProf location for close to 3 years and have always been very satisfied, that is until a few recent visits. An employee by the name of Myranda has made me feel«judged» and not comfortable in the store. The first time it happened I thought hey everybody has an off day but when it happened again I know it’s how she is or perhaps just how she feels towards me? I don’t know. I now go to salon centric, which is out of my way and does not carry all the same brands… So eventually I will have to go back in and face this rudeness, not so happy about it though. On a side note the store is very clean, organized, stocked, and all other employees I have EVER dealt with have been amazing friendly people.

I recently ordered a product from cosmoprof, and it came without parts. I can be a bit impossible at times, and I was very moody. Not only did they find me the same tray at another store, they picked it up and put it together for me. Very very professional and they took care of me asap. Thank you!

For the longest time, when I drove by, I thought this place was boarded up and closed. They need to work on their visibility and signage! I finally go in to apply being an established makeup artist and an esthetician student. None of my proofs were sufficient to the two cashiers, which was incredibly frustrating after browsing and taking an armload of items to the counter. I brought in a midway progress report from school on the company letterhead that states my hours and reminds me to preapply for state board, not sufficient. You know, because I like to spend my free time creating false documents. Showed them 2 different makeup artist pro cards(which take more proofs than Cosmo Prof asks for; school certificate of completion, production schedules from past jobs), not sufficient. Showed them my business card, not sufficient! You know, because I like to spend my precious money on fake business cards that aren’t legit. I realize the BS here is not the fault of the two cashiers and that it’s a trickle down from higher up. They just want to follow the rules and keep their jobs, I get it. I left pissed though and won’t go back. The hassle isn’t worth it when I can buy in bulk for much cheaper online.

Cosmoprof is a chain beauty supply store for licensed professionals and beauty school students only. You need to apply for a card to verify your beauty profession status to shop here. This location is one of the newer stores so it’s clean and well organized. There’s an aisle of hair tools, aisle of nail products, then a few more aisles of other salon goods. A lot of things don’t have prices on them but the manager recently told me that the prices are located under the signage at the edge of each shelf and lo and behold there they are. They carry a huge variety of brands and products for salon/spa/manicuring. The only caveat of shopping at Cosmoprof(not just this one; all of the Cosmoprof stores) is that most of the workers are not salon professionals so they are not too knowledgable on the specifics on products. The location of this store is a little confusing if you’re not used to veering off Orange Street in Redlands. It’s on 6th and Pearl, but BEHIND the Vons/Trader Joe’s plaza. Basically where you would think the delivery area for those stores are is where this Cosmoprof is located.
