I love this place. It’s small, kind of quiet and has some really decent beers. I’ve been in a few times and everyone is always really friendly and on top of things. The atmosphere is laid back, which is a total plus in my book, especially for those nights you just want a place to hang out, chat with friends and enjoy a good beer.

With the boom in craft breweries, it’s easy to be over shadowed by what’s hot and new and what’s a «staple» to the city. This brewery doesn’t have to worry about that. Josh and Melissa and the Entire Escape staff have managed to get it RIGHT. As a liquor amd beer purchasing agent for a bar/nightclub I find myself responsible for selecting and providing only the best of the best which is why I proudly dedicate 4 tap handles to this brewery. Redlands nights orange blossom blonde is a beer for ANYONE who likes flavor, beer, and a new experience. My mom is a heineken and stella enthusiast so she was apprehensive to crack into a growler i had gifted to her. Poor growler didn’t see it comin! One of my favorites is the midnight express chocolate coffee stout is fantastic! Violet Beauregarde blueberry wheat is ridiculously tasty! Lazy day IPA is also a really wonderful beer. Some friends and I went for the 1 hear anniversary and I honestly haven’t had that much fun in such a long time! I have to say that my absolute favorite beer is Melissa’s Escape the Coconut Brown. Seriously phenomenal. Keep up the good work guys! Beer lovers, if you haven’t been here, it’s Time to go!

The owners are a lovely couple and have really done their homework on the craft beer! Their passion for the ingredients comes through when you talk to them. They’ll gladly tell you exactly what is in the brew and why they chose it. Their brews are smooth and flavorful; they go down easily without the sting and bitter aftertaste. My favs; Redlands Nights Orange Blossom Blonde, Destination Brown, and the Violet Beauregarde Blueberry Wheat Ale!!! And the décor is precious!!! Clean, friendly, great place to meet friends!!!

5 stars for the best service ever! I’m not a fan of stouts or porters, but it appears that the majority of their beers are darker beers.

One of the best breweries I’ve been to! Most of the selection was delish, the prices we super cheap, and the décor was unbelievably adorable. Very cool, retro travel accents throughout the venue. Board games and other games available with tvs making it super fun, and relaxed for a night/day out!

The theme of the brewery is the best part about this place. As a seasoned brewery patron, this spot does not compare to the other breweries in the area, let alone across southern California. The beer was like drinking water from a hose — that metallic flavor permeating most of the beers. My husband and I shared a flight and barely touched most of the beers. I don’t know if it is because they are new, but hopefully they work out the kinks because it has potential.

Excellent beer selection in a relaxing and comfortable environment offered by the Brewers themselves. An alternative to other local breweries that rounds out a small tour de beer and breaks up the usual downtown Redlands bar hop routine. For those that like hiking or bike riding: Make this brewery a stop along the new Emerald Necklace route that encompasses Redlands for 30+ miles of exploration by tire or by foot.

Let me say this… I tried their beer for the first time at a booth at the Redlands classic. Told me their Redlands midnight concoction was delicious. I’d consider swiping my debit card at the gas station and guzzling 92 octane chevron with techron before drinking that again. I’m dead serious too… my first batch as a home Brewer came out better, and that’s not saying a lot. the bartender at Applebee’s down the street told me they had it on tap and I about blew out of my chair. He said«I know I know. we’re getting rid of it». Glad I’m not alone. Now, aside from that one beer, the others are actually quite good and their venue is nice too. They even have a little play area for the little minions. Escape people, keep up the good work. Just get rid of that one beer.

I like this place. While their tap room is perhaps not as nice as Hangar 24’s or their line up as solid as Ritual’s, it is a nice place to go for a pint. I usually come here after work and never had a problem finding a place to sit. They even have a kid’s play area so bringing kids is not a problem. Only issue is that they don’t have A/C and it can be sweltering on hot days. As far as beers are concerned, I recommend Lazy Day IPA and Mentone Beach Brown. They always have special releases on tap, too. Right now, Das Hood, an homage to schwarzbier, is my favorite. General speaking, I tend to enjoy Escape’s classic style-inspired beers better than the creative ones.

It’s been a while since I’ve been seriously wow’d by a brewery. Damn, you guys made some great beer! Humorously enough, the place is nigh surrounded by small churches and religious stuff. Talk about living up to its name. Of course that’s not the real reason, because once you step inside, you will be greated with the great theme of traveling! And what better stuff than actual seated rows that were used in airplanes! DAAAAANG! Talk about giving people things to talk about while enjoying their brews! As you’ll see in the pictures listed, there is a lot to see(luggage, furniture made from nuts-n-bolts, tables from airline windows, and so on) and drink. And they have a life time membership available, though I wasn’t overly impressed with it as I’ve seen offered at other breweries. However, it’s still a nice step in the right direction. The beers are excellent. They are definitely working hard to stand out amongst all the other breweries with their concoctions. Don’t ever stop, you two, you’re doing awesome!

This is the new brewery in the area, only open for about 9 months. Nice folks– nice selection of beers. The place is decorated in a travel theme. A couple games here and there, including Jenga. Nice outdoor loading dock area for when it gets hot inside. All in all, a nice place to learn about craft beer. I’ll be back!

The wife and I were spending the day in the area. We went to a museum, grabbed some lunch, and decided to try one of the local breweries. We walked in on a Sunday at around 3:30 pm. There were a few people around. The place was hot, with large industrial fans. Grabbed a flight of beers. They were okay, nothing spectacular. I wouldn’t drive the 50 miles from home to come taste their beer, but if I was in the area I’d probably grab one. The theme is a travel theme. It’s kind of interesting. The staff is really friendly and welcoming.

Really nice local craft brewery that has a relaxed and laid back feel in the tasting room. I really like the Destination Brown and the Midnight Express. Great place to stop by after work on a Friday to pick up a growler of fresh beer for the evening. Friendly service!

We loved the service and the beer was good. As mostly wine people we are not the best judge, but the the food truck and sampler beers were pretty tasty! We look for many more opportunities to try them out!

I know the place is new and they’re(hopefully) still working out the recipes, but the beers here are just not good. The pale ale being the worst one. It had a weird chemical smell and flavor. The Lazy Day is average. I’ve been here three times now and it has been the same thing each time. The prices are bit high compared to other breweries in the area. I only live down the street from this place, so I really would like to see them improve on their recipes.

A local craft brewery located in an industrial warehouse complex. Really cool décor reflecting their«escape» theme: airline seats, vintage suitcases, travel trunks, hotel artifacts and more. They boast over a dozen crafts & support them with to go liters and growlers. Many of their pours are fruit flavored with the likes of raspberries, lemons, oranges and grapefruit — yes grapefruit! Their sampler comes with a combo of the top 7 varieties and an option to add their Hef & R&R Raspberry. Not a fan of drinking beer in small plastic cups — even samples — but that’s what you get. As for their beer — too much fruit doesn’t make for a great tasting brew. The Lazy Day IPA was about the only beer I could enjoy along with the Midnight Express Stout — rich, powerful coffee! Nice work! Definitely a return destination to try their new releases and a shot at redemption. It’s beer right?! 5 stars for décor, atmosphere and service. 2 stars for the beer.

Escape is the new kid in town and still working out a few kinks. A couple of taps were dry and I’m guessing they are still purchasing their fleet of glassware as some offerings were served in plastic cups. We tried the Brown, the Stout, and the Red Rye IPA. All were unique interpretations and very enjoyable. The décor exceeds anything our other local craft brewers have going, making the experience all the more enjoyable. The owner has a keen eye for whimsy and repurposing. I’d guess that as they work out the kinks and move forward, Escape will be a valued part of the craft brew community and will be here for a very long, successful time.

Escape Craft Brewery is the 4th such place to locate itself in Redlands; and let me tell you; its a very welcome addition. I’d heard about this place quite by accident on Facebook a couple weeks ago the day after they had their«soft opening». And since I’m a fan of good craft beer, I had to give them a try. Escape is located in a little plaza/industrial park right behind Bravo Burgers and near the USPS Sorting Facility. Its almost a «blink and you’ve missed it» kind of place. The wife and I paid a visit this past Sunday and were quite impressed. The décor of the place is all vacation, travel, and«escape» themed and is quite whimsical and fun. The seating is plentiful, with tables made from old doors from the La Posada Hotel, a bank of seats from a C-134 Transport plane, an area for kids, a hangar-door that opens to outside seating, and even a chalkboard with«Oh the places you’ll go…» title to tally up all the exotic places their patrons have been to. The employees themselves were very friendly and welcoming. Melissa, one of the co-owners, really knows her stuff! In fact, everyone we spoke to there were knowledgeable about beer in general and were very helpful and welcoming. Of course — we were there to sample the beers. Wife had their Vanilla Sunset ale. It was light and refreshing with noticeable vanilla tones to it. She found it very delicious. I myself had their tasting flight. Of this, the two I liked the most was the Destination Brown and R&R Red Rye IPA. The latter of which was refreshing with orange notes imparted from the variety of hops they use. Even the wife liked this one, and she’s not an IPA gal at all. I give this place four very solid stars. We plan to visit this place fairly often to see how it, as well as their beer selection, evolves before a 5th stsr is given. They are certainly a welcome addition to the Inland Empire Craft Beer scene.
