I love that this places always has specials! The fabrics range from 40%-75% off! Once I discovered this place, I haven’t stepped foot in Joann’s again.

Came in during their anniversary sale. Definitely the place to go for fabric. Suitings, tech fabric for sportwear, muslin, cottons, notions, supplies, pillow forms, furniture fabric, etc. The usual. Sales tables in the back.

Nice store for fabrics when you don’t have the time to go to LA. They have a nice selection of wedding lace, knits, and notions.

I’m a beginner, and I really appreciate how the store is organized according to different types of fabric. There’s a section for rayon challis, ponteroma, etc. The chambray is separate from the denim, which is awesome. Because I don’t have a lot of experience identifying fabric, I have no clue what I’m doing in Joann’s since the fabric categories there are super broad. For example, there’s a bunch of fabric called Fall Apparel or Gertie’s. Some of the fabric is gorgeous but what is it(«cotton»? What kind of cotton?) and how do I sew with it??? lol. I get knits vs wovens, but when selecting a woven labeled as «rayon» or «cotton» I feel pretty clueless. I still love Joann’s but it’s much easier for me to shop at Hancock’s. At Hancock’s, I know I’m dealing with rayon challis or gauze and thus how to sew with it. The knits they carry are much higher quality in general than the knits at Joann’s.

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this fabric store is. I came in during Hancock’s blowout sale. I initially came in to look for fabric for creating my own costume. The Sales Associate that asked me if i needed any assistance, was such a great help. She gave more ideas and even took time to help me search for the type of fabric I had in mind and made suggestions as well. Towards the end of my shopping experience the Associate even gave a little extra fabric to work with. Then proceeded to ring me up at the register. Where she gave me a reward points card when shopping at Hancock’s. Overall experience was incredible. This store has alot of great items, fabric, crafts, home décor, bedroom décor and pillows and blankets, etc… Great store for fabrics other store don’t carry.

I buy almost all my sewing supplies and fabrics here. I love that it’s small and not so busy. The ladies are always interested in hearing what you are going to make and they also love seeing your projects if you want to take them in for show and tell. Everyone is knowledgable and willing to help in any way they can if you need help with a special project.

I’m new to the whole sewing/knitting scene but no stranger to the fine gauge of detecting really nice fabrics. This place is in a little tucked away area of Redlands next to Stater Bros. I love the mellow vibe of this quaint, small neighborhood store. The employees are super helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. Unlike the bigger chain stores(which I also like) that might seem a little busier and more intimidating if you’re a novice at sewing. Overall, great people and very good prices make this a big hit with me. Sometimes, smaller is better in some cases. ;)

Clean store with an emphasis on sewing, upholstery, and quilting. They also carry the Kwik Sew brand of patterns. Staff very helpful and offer advice.
