Island Tanning

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. Reasonably priced. Always clean. The staff is always friendly and super helpful. I’ve only used the 20min beds but before finding this place it was hard to find beds with optional facial tanning.

I’ll be returning again very soon!

I’ve been in this place a few times. I never tried their beds but their Mystic machine.
Mystic is good at this location. Same as it would be at other locations.
This time I decided to do an airbrush tan. Although airbrush is more expensive than mystic I always prefer it because the results are way better.
Mystic will leave marks and spots on your wrists and feet but by having a person spraying you they will usually be cautious and the end result is usually very natural and different from the Mystic.
The staff is nice but what they did to my skin is unbelievable. I had an important event and air brush was my best choice for that natural and even look.
Everything went well or so I thought until the day after I was getting ready for my event.
She forgot to do the top of my head so on each side by receding hairline I had two white spots that I had to cover with make up so I wouldn’t become the laugh of the day.
My feet were as bad or worse than the Mystic, color was uneven… The day after, when I was shaving for my event, the color came off leaving white spots in my neck. My wrists are nasty!
So just beware! Pay $ 25 for a mystic, it makes no sense to pay $ 45 for an air brush because they obviously don’t know how to do it!

I recently visited your location on Thursday ⁰⁴⁄₂₃. I purchased a mystic tan for myself and a friend. When I was done I noticed streaks of blue all down both of my legs. When I pointed this out to the receptionist she apologized and asked the lady who does the airbrush tanning to fix it. I appreciated this. However, the next day my legs looked HORRIBLE. The backs of my legs were at least three shades darker then the front, there was still streaks all down the bottom of my legs, and my feet had big splotches that looked like run down around my ankles. I went back in Friday morning to show what had happened to me. I got this done for an outdoor festival and ended up having to wear pants in the heat all weekend because of how bad it looked. I called on Monday and asked if I could be refunded my money because of how bad it was, (the receptionist also said numerous times that this has NEVER happened before) and she said she would have to talk to the owner and would give me a call back. It is now Wednesday and I have yet to hear back from anyone.

I’ve been a few times. Place is very clean and front desk employees are always nice. I use the lay down bed thing for twelve minutes it seems to get the job done. I’ve notice after I go ill look a little buffer lol love this place will be going back. I would definitely recommend going 5 stars says it all.

My first session in a year started with entering an extremely crowded business an hour before their 7pm closing.
Everyone had to wait but I did not witness even a modicum of frustration. The young lady coordinating it all was so upbeat, professional and friendly that we were all happy to sit and await our turn.
I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience and if every service business had a smiling and pleasant representative even half as effective as what I witnessed, the world would be a better place.

Nice place except a bit pricey. Super clean which is a must for an OCD person like myself. Lisa (morning staff) is super awesome and was on top of things. She answered all of my questions and thanks to her suggestions I walked out of there w a sexy tan.

No I’m not just jumping on the rave reviews bandwagon just to jump on it. This place actually does deserve all the stars I’m giving it. I’ve since moved to the part of Highland/​SB that is closer to Redlands so found myself switching to this tanning spot, because of location convenience at first, now just because of the ~Saturn~ stand up tanning bEd if you can still call it one.0_o since you’re standing up? In just two sessions so far I’m as dark as if I had tanned in a regular bed 4 times. Lovin the result. The prices are reasonable too, even the people are accomodating and nice here. Go figure, in a time where you go to most any business now and the workers forgot what customer service is, these employees still remember ;) Worth checking out!

Love it!!! Best salon I’ve ever been to!!! It’s clean, and beautiful. The staff is AHHHH MAZING. My favorite though, would have to be my Lisa. I usually go every morning when they open at 8 so I can get to my happy spot before going to work, and she is just so sweet and we have to chat every day. Love her. Beds are always super clean and ready to go. I have been spoiled by this place.

I just went to island tanning, and just wanted to post this review because I’ve been to many tanning salons and this was the first I’ve seen we’re the staff (Devin) actually seemed to care about you as a customer. She was so honest and upfront about prices, what was more cost effective, which bed works best, explaining your options, etc… She was super friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be going back there again. Devin was great!

Love the customer service, came in because I have to take some pictures, and have terrible tan lines. The girl behind the counter was very helpful, I called to ask what to do, they gave me great advice, tried to help me a much as they could. Made me feel welcome, if I ever spray tan again definitely will be here…

This is by far the best tanning salon I have ever been to. Super clean beds. Always ready to use. Employees are super nice and always helpful. I’ve tanned at many different salons in the past but once I found island tanning, I will never go any where else again.

This is a great place to tan. It is clean and has a very friendly staff. Always greeted with a smile and treated like you matter.
