3 of us, three sandwiches. 1) only bread available was wheat rolls, not good for a BAKERY. Bread was tough to chew through, as if a day old. 2) added avocado was very, very scant. 3) house made dressing(oil and Italian seasonings) was non-existent. We know this because once we added extra we could taste it. Had desserts here before, they were good(so 2 stars for that). Avoid the sandwiches($ 8).

Best bakery with delicious gluten free options. The pastries and bread are wonderful and the sandwiches are huge.

This is the best Gluten –Free bakery in Southern California. I have searched everywhere for a Gluten-Free bakery that truly doesn’t aggravate my system(I also have dairy, soy, nut and nightshade sensitivities). This is the only one that does that. Also, it happens to have the best tasting baked goods out of the gluten-free bakeries. My husband is vegan and he loves their vegan baked goods. Try the gf cupcakes and lemon cakes. They also do great work with custom cakes– they made a really cute garbage truck cake for my son’s second birthday and a very pretty cake for my baby shower. Everyone loved it. Plus, they are really friendly and it is a family-owned business.

Love this place! Will miss it when I move, but will be looking forward to stopping in from time to time when I’m in California for sure. They make their own bread from scratch which is amazing! Last time I came here and met a friend and had their lemon gluten free square and brought it home. It’s was light and just the right amount of lemon flavor in it.

I needed a personal wedding cake for my wife and I to cut at our ceremony. After reading a lot of reviews and perusing various websites, I decided to take a risk with this establishment. I contacted the business and the employee advised me that a personal cake for a wedding would be anywhere from 32 to 40 dollars, depending on what decorations would be on the cake. I drove to the store, chose a design from their catalog photos and agreed to pick the cake up on the following Saturday. Fast forward to Saturday, I drive to pick up my cake and the worker tells me the cake is now 45 dollars. Huh? Did I miss something? I was told the cake would be anywhere from 32(most basic) to 40(most elaborate) for a single tiered cake. He proceeds to tell me that the cake had fondant flowers which cost more. I was getting married in four hours so I didn’t argue and just paid the maker. Cake was ok, service sucked.

Fantastic find for vegan and gluten free eating! Turnovers so so good, excellent almond milk latte. There were so many options it was hard to choose and easy to take things home.

I really really want to like muffin top bakery. I’ve been here a handful of times at least. My coworker and I have come for lunch in hopes of a good sandwich. We are both vegetarian so we order somewhat similar variations of a veggie sandwich.(One order at a time mind you) EVERYTIME we get our food the order isn’t quite right. They give her the bread I wanted with the ingredients she wanted… or they forget a key ingredient in mine and not hers or visa versa. The food is decent– but I’d like what I ordered to be correct! One time we each ordered, and I ordered a sandwich to go for my sister. They put the bread I ordered for my sisters– on my coworkers sandwich.

I used to be impressed by this place since it is probably the only bakery in Redlands that has vegan options but my visit here today made me realize that they only seem to make vegan versions of nonvegan deserts without much effort to actually make them taste good. I had the cherry crumble, mona lisa, and a cupcake and they were all either dry or bland. I’ve had other items here before that have been better but nothing that has had me over the moon and wanting to come back for more.

Big space, I’ll try to study here next time, but they close at 6pm… Majority vegan baked goods. Seems pricey at ~$ 4, but at least that prevents binging. I thought the raspberry Mona Lisa had a strange after taste, another sign of sweetener use or the oil. I enjoyed eating the middle of it because it was soft from the jam. The Raspberry Crumble is like a lighter version because it also has a base of sugar cookie. I’ll need to try a cake to see if anything else is hard/dry. The baklava is dry and without honey I think, but I still really liked eating the pastry because it was covered with some kinda of sugar shell. I don’t prefer baklava drowning in honey. The Napoleon was bland and stiff pastry, I was shocked. Wouldn’t buy again. Service was a nice girl behind the counter. I’m going to have to ask what kind of oil is used since one review said it was soybean/vegetable oil. Why not canola for more good fat…

Felt like I was in heaven! I had he cinnamon roll, it was delicious. I got a carrot cupcake to go still have to try it but, I’m sure it will be amazing. I was so happy they have almond milk for your coffee! So hard to find most places usually only carry soy. I will most definitely be back!

My friend and I came in here because we were waiting for our friend to meet us at mcduffs. We were so hungry we couldn’t wait so we decided to grab a pastry of some sort. My friend and I had the cannoli and it was delicious! They sell a lot of different types of breads and other goodies.

I was looking forever for a place with gluten free and sugar free treats! This place really has options for everyone with gluten free cupcakes, sugar free and gluten free cookies, pound cakes, low carb breads, and vegan cinnamon rolls! My brother loved the GF cupcake and I’m mildly obsessed with their sugar free cookies! I’ve also always had great customer service here. Next time I am definitely getting the sugar free blueberry bread and their low carb cinnamon raisin bread ;)

Excellent place to grab some coffee/tea/donuts/fresh baked goods or anything you feel like that they offer. We just had some tea, but they have plenty of delicious items to choose from, good prices, great location and good customer service.

Little spot I found while in Redlands, nice and clean, plenty of parking and some good pastry selections. I took a cheese danish which is big enough to share with someone but I also had the three cheese grill cheese on wheat bread which was pretty darn good. They also have the sugar free section which is great for someone that has a sweet tooth but needs to watch their sugar intake. I don’t frequent Redlands but when I do, you bet I will come by again.

I’ve been to the Riverside location back when I was a UCR student. This is a cool addition to Downtown Redlands. Compared to the Riverside location, this café is much bigger with plenty of seating and more deliciousness to offer. They offer a wide variety of baked goods: bread, pound cakes, cookies, bagels, cupcakes, and of course muffins. They sell both muffins and muffin tops(which reminds me of that episode of Seinfeld where Elaine opened a muffin top shop — could this be the inspiration?). In addition, they offer sandwiches and a variety of café drinks. I ordered a sandwich. forgot which but it was a hot sandwich recommended to me by the cashier. I really enjoyed it. it came with a side of coleslaw, a pickle, and a small shortbread cookie. all were very good. I also took a loaf of jalapeño cheddar bread, which they sliced when I bought it. I enjoyed that bread very much as well!

Found my new spot!!! I have celiac disease and a milk allergy and struggle to find a good bread everywhere. This is the only spot near me that carries a variety of options for me. No more lettuce wraps! Thank you muffin top bakery, keep up the great work!

So excited to see so any options for gluten free. I have an intolerance to gluten and shy away from bakeries but this one made me happy :) I got the pumpkin square, a pumpkin muffin and some sprinkle cookies. Atmosphere was nice in there. I will be back to try their coffee :)

I can’t comment on too much other than the cinnamon and sugar palmiers(large oval crispy pastries) — always good and just like they tasted when I had them as a kid. So badly I want to give you guys 5 stars because you’re always so nice and the pastry is good but about 3 mos ago I ordered a Turkey and Wwiss to go and like the other poster here — was really disappointed on what I ended up getting. The white roll was dry. Inside — no house dressing(I only requested no mayo), a spot of shredded iceberg lettuce, two quarter slices of faded red tomato, mustard and seriously — a tiny portion of meat and cheese. I ordered a side of macaroni salad but got chips instead and no muffin top. The pickle spear was the best part — boo :/ I even took a picture but probably not good to post it here… or maybe?

Gluten free sweets are okay. Nothing special. I tried the– cream cheese muffin(bleh, no cream cheese to speak of, other than a teaspoon on top!), blueberry muffin, brownie(yuck, dry), cinnamon roll, date bar(tiny! I think she sold me a tiny piece broken off of a regular sized piece), an assortment of the sugar cookies, and a raspberry or cherry crumble(DELICIOUS). However, NOTHING tops the gluten free apple cinnamon bread!!! For $ 6.75, you get a really good quality– so much better than dried up Udi’s, which costs $ 5+ at the store and is way tinier and disgustingly denser. I have been eating my body weight in toast, sandwiches, and French toast ever since I discovered the apple cinnamon bread. I live an hour and a bf from Redlands, but will be making a trip out regularly to get my bread fix!!! This is the best GF bread I’ve had yet!!!
