My Gym Redlands

I cannot believe I am about to write such a poor review, but I wish I had known about the poor treatment my son would receive here. I would have NEVER signed him up for classes, had I known about Kara.
My husband was bringing our son here for his classes while I was at work, and about a month in, he told me that it seemed to him that Kara didn’t care for our son and wasn’t treating him as nicely as she was the other children. My husband always sees the best in people, so I was immediately worried about what was happening.
I decided to attend the next class and keep an open mind. I immediately noticed that Kara had an indifferent, borderline rude attitude towards my son. It was little things at first, tone of voice, calling on him last on all activities, and not making sure he completed all activities, as she did with other children.
He kept calling her «teacher,» as he was 3 years old at the time and didn’t know her name. Apparently, that greatly offended her, because she leaned down, and in a low tone told him that her name was Kara and not teacher. If it bothered her, she should have said, in an upbeat tone, «Call me Kara!!» What kind of person works with small children and is bothered by being referred to as teacher?
The straw that broke the camel’s back, however, was when she let him land on his head from the rings. Yes, you read correctly. She couldn’t be bothered to spot him properly, and being 3, he let go too soon and fell on his head.
Someone like this should have never been hired by a children’s gym. If you are considering this gym for your child, be careful. I would hate for any parent to watch their 3 year old land on his/​her head like I did. It was truly the worst moment of my life and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
I will also add that My Gym had no interest whatsoever in the well-​being of my son after he fell. I called a few days later, because I was double-​charged, and the owner didn’t even inquire as to how my son was. To me, that is awful. I didn’t want anything from them, but a little show of heart would have been nice.

My 9mth old and I love coming twice a week. She has learned so much the past 2mths by interacting with other children and with the class activities. Every week they do something different and they even change the set up of the gym. Staff has been very friendly and loving to my daughter and I.

We started taking our little one here when she was 10 months. And went for 6 months. The only reason why we stopped attending this My Gym was because we don’t live locally, we live in Riverside which should only be a 20 minute drive… but with traffic on the 91 it always ends up being a 45 min to a hour drive (one way).
We loved the teachers and my daughter learned so much in the short time we attended.
I highly recommended this location.

I have been taking my son for 3 months now and he absolutely loves it! He will be 23months soon and we will be moving up to the Gymsters class. All of the teachers are sweet and you can tell they love what they do. I would recommend to anyone with a small child. 2 thumbs up! :)

I have been taking my 20 month old son to MyGym for about a year now. We absolutely love it! It’s our time together and now that he will start pre-​school, I am sad to pull him out of MyGym. However, I started taking his 7 month old sister and so we are not leaving MyGym entirely. We love the staff especially Nikki and Ashley. They are very good with the children. The activities are very organized and entertaining for the kids and the place is always very clean. I have also met many wonderful moms there. Nothing negative I can say about this place!

We scheduled our son’s 3^rd birthday party at MyGym for their access to kids activities and location. Come to find out that most of our party had trouble finding the location, because the outdoor sign was not lit up. We asked the girl working there why it was not lit up and she said that it wasn’t working (bummer, forget that it’s pitch black outside, huh). There were 2staff members on duty that night and both were substandard in regards to there level of interaction with the guests and how they manage parties. Safe to say that both were really BLAND especially the male with the funny, outdated hairdo. I would recommend choosing another spot for a child’s bday due to the quality of service received here…

My family has been attending My Gym classes in Redlands for the past 4 years and my children absolutely love it there. Every time we drive by, my youngest daughter screams with excitement hoping it’s time for her visit!
The staff is wonderful and make the classes feel upbeat, positive, and extremely engaging. They make all the children and parents feel involved and important.
Besides the physical benefits my children have enjoyed, my girls have had the opportunity to experience what it means to wait their turn, how to share, listen and follow the directions of the instructors, follow rules, and play safely.
I consider my daughters’ experiences at My Gym of Redlands to have given them invaluable tools that helped them in their relationships with peers, confidence in themselves, and physical coordination. We love My Gym!
