This review is for work at home in Sun Lakes, Banning.
Brian personally gave his estimate, but when he showed up to do the work he didn’t stay to do it; he left two workers who obviously weren’t arborists. Hack job, and Brian never came back to see that the trimming was done correctly; it wasn’t.
Promised to fertilize citrus trees; didn’t.
Never removed dead wood; lots of it left.
Promised to return to inspect complaint issues but time and again didn’t show up. Still hasn’t 2 months later.

Roof is leaking after bee removal. Waiting for him to make good on it.
Update: his guys came about an hour after I called him. They went right to it. We’ll see if it holds the next time it rains. So for now three stars.

Romberg came out to trim a tree ONLY and they did a horrible hack job on that tree (I think it was the guy with the broken arms fault he couldn’t hold the chain saw with two hands ACK) Then they REMOVED a perfectly good tree, tore down a pop up canopy and threw it away finally I don’t know if they were horse playing of fighting but one guy tossed another guy into my shed and damaged it. I suppose there is a reason he has a F rating on BBB and a low rating here. Also you must question why three business name changes in two years.

Romberg Tree Service asks for money up front before doing job. Dont ever give anyone money up front. They commit to a day to do work, they dont show up. I called a couple days later, they commited to the next day, didnt show. I called again and got no responce or return call. I called one more time and left a message to either do the job or return my money, no return call again. Romberg Tree service takes your money and runs. Dont EVER do business with Romberg Tree Service

Brian Romberg purchased plants from our Nursery in Riverside, CA. The $ 1500 check was returned by his bank for insufficient funds and we NEVER received payment on it. It was very hard to get in contact with him. When I did reach him, he acted as nothing. He promised to come into the nursery in person to make a full payment on two separate occassions. We also sent him countless collection letters, including by certified mail. We sent him to collections, and reported him to the county District Attorney for bad check crime. We still haven’t collected on the payment-it’s been 3 years now. This man is BAD NEWS. Do not hire him. I think he knew EXACTLY what he was doing and never intended to pay for the merchandise. Do not do business with this man. He’s a con artist. I give him ZERO stars. DISPICABLE. DISHONEST.

Most recent experience was very positive. Came over on the same day and assigned a very professional pruner to take care of the job. Dug out a tree very carefully around irrigation hoses and hand-​pruned the shrubs and a small orange tree. Cleared away all the debris.
