Being new to the country I was frustrated by getting through intricacies of how insurance and healthcare work here. Trying to buy a set of contact lenses posed another challenge. After calling a number of optometrists in the area I was taken aback by how little people on the phone could tell me besides «you need to pay XXX for eye exam and YYY for contact lens exam». All that considering that I know exactly which lenses I need.
Dr Amos’s office was somewhat different and they were first trying to help me understand how it all works rather than trying to charge me.
I was impressed by the attitude, professionalism, services rendered and explanation of how to apply my insurance best. I will return here again.
