Stopped in here because we didn’t know there was a Dutch Bros. only a block further east of this. The two kids behind the counter were sweet but did not know what they were doing. My wife’s peppermint mocha tasted burnt and my almond joy mocha tasted like cherries — my guess is they don’t know the difference between coconut and amaretto. There are better options nearby

Great Mexican mocha. Exactly what you want at a drive-thru in the Oregon high desert. Great service, good deals with plenty of options, and tastes great.

As far as drive-through coffee goes, there isn’t much of a sliding scale. Either you get it or you don’t, and in this case, Coffee Depot gets it, with flavor. My wife and I stopped in here on a summer road trip a few weeks ago after having a cup of joe at their sister store in Sisters the day before. We got fast, friendly service at both locations and at our Redmond stop when we weren’t sure what we wanted, they suggested the caramel granita. It’s not normally my thing, but I’m glad I was open to being influenced. The granita was cool and creamy, borderlined on ‘five-dollar shake’ quality, and is probably a heart stopper, but my wife had the sugar-free and soy version, which was quizzically just as delicious.
