Eberhards Dairy Products

So tired of the milk going sour 2 days after the pull date, when will you address these issues? And how do I get a refund? Bet they don’t respond, since they seem to have a monopoly here in Central Oregon

We use milk almost exclusively for cooking, and not very much; so we buy milk by the quart. Invariably, when we buy a quart of Eberhard’s 2% milk, it goes sour within a day or two after its pull-​by date, which is about 10 days or so after we bought it. Other brands that we use last longer, sometimes much longer.
The flavor is fine. Only the lack of longevity is an issue.

Eberhard has the best ice cream ever! We don’t have Eberhard on this (west) side of the Cascades so we contacted Eberhard a while back to see if they sell anywhere over here. Turns out, they don’t, but what surprised me the most was that the person that answered the phone was the owner, Mr. Eberhard, himself! He was very friendly and we had a nice talk about their products. Any time we are in Central Oregon, we always try to get ourselves some Eberhard Ice Cream!

Eberhards is a great purveyor of fine dairy products. Ive been using their products in my restaurant since we’ve been open and haven’t thought twice about it. The quality of product is fantastic, real attention to detail when it comes to their goods. Not only are their products fantastic, the service that comes with it is unmatched in the restaurant business. Any time I’ve asked for a personal visit they don’t hesitate to send someone over. Any time I’ve run out of any product they don’t hesitate to get it to my door. What more can you ask for? if any of you are familiar with purveyors in my line of work, you know that good service and PR skills don’t always come along with what you order. Anyhow, from a consumer level they have the best milk in the state, and do it with an old fashioned business style. Just what you want in a small town business, these guys got the goods.
