Delicious, traditional American diner food. Service is friendly and fairly quick. Breakfast/brunch are obviously the star meals here(the pancakes and Swedish pancakes are so tasty!) but the lunch options are tasty, too.

So I have been coming in here for years. There food is always top notch. There service is excellent. I have never before had an issue with them. Today is different. Today I ordered my favorite breakfast to go, called in in advance as i always do, 45 min later my orders ready. I take it back to work, mouth watering thinking about how awesome this is going to be, i get in open the container and I was in shock. There was two poorly made eggs oilly in the corner and the smallest portion of hash I have ever seen. 4 bites. A few slivers of onion, 1 small chunk of potato. There was more volume in the two eggs. The two pancakes were great but the meal that has always filled the plate when ive gone into the restaurant or filled the box when ive taken out with leftovers was gone in under 2 min and im still hungry, more over I feel completely ripped off. I can’t belive someone could charge $ 12.00 for that. Knowing it was not 1⁄3 the potion normally served. This is the stuff that makes loyal customers never return.

Our favorite place to meet out of state friends for breakfast when they are in town, every couple of months. Consistently good food, great service, and very reasonable prices. A big step up from the bland Denny’s/IHOP type places. Also very kid and senior friendly.

My favorite breakfast place in the area. Been coming here about 3 years and it’s always a treat. After trying 10 – 15 other places this is the one we liked best. Great omelets, pancakes(gluten free is best in class in my opinion), and their homemade corn beef hash is wonderful. I didn’t know I liked it until I had it here. They are sometimes rushed and busy, but not as bad as many other places(like brown bag), and the quality is good.(I haven’t had quality suffer during rush). I like that I see the same people here after 3 years, usually a great sign for how they treat people as well. They also are very accommodating to my daughter who wants weird things like a bowl of strawberries with slices of cheddar on top. 5 stars for breakfast at least. I don’t understand why it’s not higher rated.

I love this place. I am an early riser so I go there at 5:30 Sunday mornings. The place is quiet with a couple of regular customers. Ashley the waitress is wonderful. The food is excellent! CFS is one of my favorites it comes with 2 eggs, hashbrowns & toast or pancakes. Biscuit & gravy Combo is a must! Overall I love this place!

My breakfast was very ordinary, plain boring cheap wheat bread, good scrambled egg, bacon not as crispy as I asked for. Vanilla latte was good but overly sweet, bonus points for having espresso! Hubby’s pancakes were good, I had a few bites. There are better breakfast places, but this would do if we’re in the area. Server was nice, good service. Old school décor, but I wasn’t there for décor. :)

Redmond has a dearth of ethnic restaurants, but sometimes you just want a basic American meal. Two things bring me back; the fact that they serve real tom turkey dinners all year round, and the 10% discount for seniors! It’s like Denny’s but with less grease!

What’s not to like… eggs cooked to perfection, crispy bacon and fluffy pancakes. I went in on a weeknight when I had the need for breakfast for dinner. This satisfied my east coast diner desires. The décor is delightfully 80s and the service was great. No complaints here! Don’t come here if you’re looking for a fancy and fussy meal — it’s not for you.

Food was decent but the waitress was strange. Started off friendly & fast but then had a complete attitude change once my kids food came out. I waited about 5 mins more for my sandwich which wasn’t a big deal to me but I guess was to her. I can only assume she got upset with whoever held up my food in the kitchen but she def made her frustration very known to us. Once we got in the car, all my kids were like«what was up with that?!» She plopped my plate down in front of me & left without saying a word. After that, trying to flag her down for more napkins & drink refills was next to impossible & we found out only when asking for a refill that their lemonade was not refillable. Would’ve been nice to let us know that when ordering.

Wow. Just… wow. From the oaky wood and brass accents to the olive and maroon carpets, seats and curtains, from the plastic plants to the random wave-patterned frosted glass and ancient, pitted and worn syrup and sugar dispensers, this place is a museum of 1980’s restaurant kitsch. And it doesn’t stop with the décor. The muzak oozing out of the transistor-quality, nicotine-yellow speakers is Steely Dan, John Denver, Michael Jackson, Fleetwood Mac, ELO… It would be annoying if it wasn’t done so completely to the hilt. The waitress even accidentally(?) has big hair. As it is, it’s very entertaining. I almost expect to break out in teenage acne all over again! I’m not being facetious– you gen-Xers should come in for the jaw-dropping nostalgia it evokes, and younger folks, if you’ve ever wondered what aesthetic it was WE rebelled against, check this out! Oh…the food was good, pancakes fluffy, eggs cooked pefectly. Service was gentle and attentive, coffee kept full, etc. Blah blah. Whatever. It’s this amazing unintentional archive of style that all my stars are for– but it actually IS a decent place to eat. One missing star for the fact that the place really needs a deep cleaning, but… of course it does! Now, pardon me while I pay my tab, tapping my pen to the beat of Lionel Ritchie’s «All Night Long»…

I’ve eaten at this restaurant with my family since 1991, and have fond memories of this place. I can say for sure that their chicken fried steak recipe has NOT changed since the 90s, or at least it doesn’t taste like it. It’s so good. Yesterday we also tried their bacon waffles for the first time, and god damn those are also delicious. It gets packed on the weekends for brunch, but there’s plenty of seating, so the wait isn’t too bad.

Love their Country Roll Ups: delicious breakfast sausages rolled up in fantastic potato pancakes. Something I haven’t found anywhere else! Lovely breakfast spot.

A good family breakfast place that has the feel of a Bob Evans for those from the Midwest. However the service is sometimes rushed and the food is good but not plated well. Coffee is delivered by cup instead of pot as you’d expect at a breakfast restaurant. A good«old Redmond» restaurant that are sadly disappearing. Enjoy it while you can.

Stopped in with 2 small kids on a weeknight expecting traditional diner fare. After waiting for 30 minutes to get water and an inability to order a single dish, we got up and left. I am not sad about the situation, the menu looked much grosser in person than the already semi-gross Unilocal photos. Avoid at all cost. Topper, as we were leaving one of the bus boys chased us out because our youngest daughter left her toy on the seat. I am still perplexed as to why they got that right but couldn’t seem to take an order in a half hour of being seated.

Yummy pancakes, real butter, warm syrup, pefect eggs over-easy… & the absolute BEST real, corned beef hash I’ve ever tasted! 10% Senior discount, if needed. One caveat/suggestion for the general mgrs, Anne Harris & Daryl Jessen, & why I didn’t give FPH5 Stars: make sure dishes are double-rinsed w/clean water. My coffee tasted of soap &cigarettes; CLEARLY, I didn’t drink beyond the first sip, but still felt a bit ill afterwatds. Not the best place for WiFi; it cycles & drops connection, due to low output from the Redmond Inn, but who cares? I chose FPH for pancakes & they delivered! GREATPLACE for Breakfast! ;)

This is my family’s favorite breakfast spot in the East side. Standard breakfast fare, nothing fancy. But it tastes good. They have delicious gluten free pancakes for my husband who has celiac and that is hard to find. Most of all, the service is excellent. Of course we have our favorites, but every server we’ve ever had is friendly, attentive, and kind. We go there often and are happy we found it.

Do you like Denny’s? Well, this place is better than that. I mean… It still seems like a lot of what they serve comes from either a can or the freezer. Don’t get me wrong. But they do it all pretty well, considering that. It’s diner food. Breakfast is good. Pancakes and French toast meals are everything. I won’t order anything else here, so I have no idea if you should getter prime rib for instance. Come hungry — portions are pretty generous.

I go there very often since 2004, when I moved to Redmond. The food is constantly good — I love the combo menus where you can get pancake or French toast, eggs, links. I recommend Big Bob’s. Prices are reasonable and they use good quality ingredients(love the coffee and orange juice too). Be sure to go there early Saturday or Sunday since there is always a line before 10.30am.

J and I were closer to Village Square Café, but after seeing the wait there, we decided to try Family Pancake House instead. And to our pleasant surprise, although very busy, there was no wait! This place, I would say, is better quality(both food and environment) than Denny’s, but almost the same as IHOP. Although, this restaurant just feels a little bit more«homey», if that even makes sense. Although a little bit on the slower side, service is friendly. Our waiter forgot the bananas in our bananas pancakes(haha), but was very genuine and sincere with his apology and was quick to offer a new plate. Our food was classic breakfast food, and was absolutely delicious! We shared a side of biscuits and gravy, a plate of pancakes with bacon and scrambled eggs, and my favorite of the meal, CINNANOMROLLFRENCHTOAST(literally big slices of a cinnamon roll made into French toast) with a side of sausage and fried eggs. If we were close to FPH, we’d probably dine there again, but it’s not somewhere we’d go out of our way for. But hey, still a great experience nonetheless.
