FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

1^st of all this one star does not target the Redmond facility.
We ordered a product from a California vendor. We gave the vendor only our home address. We received an email from FedEx that the product was ready for pick up at the FedEx facility in Redmond. We did not authorize a shipment to the Redmond facility, in fact we have never been there as it is 10+ miles from our home. We asked that the package be re-​routed to their Bellevue store. We also email FedEx to find out who changed the delivery address. No response. We emailed the vendor & we suspect we will get an answer. We repeatedly got telephone calls From FedEx that the package was ready for pick up at the Bellevue store. I wasn’t. We have asked repeatedly who changed the delivery shipping address-​no response. We suspect the FedEx driver but only FedEx can check their data base. Over a dozen emails from FedEx-​you know the canned variety-​were worthless. It used to be a good company-​it now sucks big time. We will no longer do on-​line shopping-​it is a colossal waste of our time.

I’m leaving this review here because I can’t find a Unilocal listing for FedEx Ground distribution center. I have no experience with this particular store but I do want consumers to know that a contracted FedEx driver can steal your package, lie about delivering it, and his/​her supervisor will support them regardless of evidence of the theft and then deny the claim. Don’t use FedEx! They will not investigate a theft beyond asking the driver if he did it. I’ll be filing grand larceny charges against the driver.

Went to this FedEx location today, with a label and an Ipad that I had wrapped in bubble wrap. The guy at the counter Brett, was very inquisitive on what I was sending, looked at the wrap and said «you know, we have a perfect box you can send that to ensure there is no damage». I told him I wasn’t interested, that I had enough bubble wrap to surround the Ipad with atleast 1.5cm of air around it. He kept trying to instill fear in me, that the package could be damaged etc. I tried to explain to him and show him that the Ipad was in a bubble wrap and that it more than meets the specifications for shipping it safely. He insisted that it wasn’t, and then said he would write a note that I had not followed his recommendation. I found it to be a veiled threat, «buy a box or else I am going to write a note». I told him I did not appreciate his underhanded sales tactics of making me buy stuff I dont need. These sales tactics are worse than that from a used car sales man. I told him I will take pictures of the bubble wrap and complain to his superiors. He didn’t seem to care, I am not sure if the superiors would care either, they must have a policy to spread the fear of god in their customers and make them buy additional stuff they don’t need so they can fatten themselves with slimy profits.

My husband and I come here for all our large printing needs. They are always so willing to help and get us out prints super quick! The store is clean and organized and the customer service is outstanding! We will be back if not this week for more printing and lamentation needs.

My apartment doesn’t have a receiving area. Therefore, I have to pick up my own package at a location. FedEx has been doing a great job notifying me. This is the location I normally pick up my package after work because it’s very close to where I work.
On Redmond Way, next to Value Village, parking is available but space is very tight. No extra charge to pick up from the location and very friendly service.

Summary:
*Fedex lost my package
*Lied, claiming they will send it the next day when I called.
*Lied, claiming that it was at the Redmond location.
*Only told me the truth when I wasted my time going to the location.
*After having wasted the entire day before waiting for my package.
*I will never use Fedex again.
I received an initial note on the door saying I was not there to pick it up and they will deliver it again (normal). When I returned from my trip (ten days later), my roommate had not seen the package or any notes on the door. I had to contact Fedex to inquire about where my package was.
The first person I contacted was not helpful, saying I had to go online. There were no options for me online, because the package was lost! I called again and scheduled a delivery for the next day. I waited all day, 9:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M., for the package. I wasted my day because of Fedex. The package never arrived. I called yet again to ask what happened and why my package is still not here after two weeks.
The employee could not tell me why it was not arrived, but told me it was at the Redmond location. I do not have a car and had to get a ride all the way there from Seattle to retrieve my package, which they claimed was located there.
The employee in charge of investigating lost packages (who rudely assumed that the person I was with was the one to talk to despite me being the one with the name tag given by security) told me that her driver did not know what happened to the package. I asked her if it was lost and she confirmed. She told me to contact the shipper to expedite the «investigation» they will supposedly do.

Sunday afternoon you have 1 person working and about 15 customers waiting. We have been standing here for 15 minutes and I decided a Unilocal review is in order. Please staff better because this is ridiculous. She is running all the registers single handedly but luckily for us she is at least nice about it!

This is a great FEDEX. The staff is a good as their experience. They typically have an old-​pro on when they have a newbie working (how would you get experience otherwise). And the guy who is working in the back is a graphics guru — his role (or hers) is to make the magic happen, not ring you up.
Go to the library if you want 5 copies of something. Head to the c-​store for that one time fax. Head over to the postoffice (now over by Home Depot) if you want to cram stuff in an envelope. All good potential choices for the task at hand. Or head into Redmond Fedex if you want to do business.
I use Kinkos all over the US. I expect it is because of all the work they do for that big Redmond firm, but this is one of the most pleasant and efficient Kinkos stores I’ve done repeat business with.

I like this place, it’s a busy location, but really all I do here is ship packages, and the people here are super helpful. like any good business they will treat you fairly if you do the same, and I always come in looking for help, and they are always there!
I appreciate them going the extra mile to help customers, and I realize it’s not cheap, but I always seem to get my packages to their destination in a very timely manner, and the managers and shipping staff always find the perfect packaging, and making sure that I get everything I need to get the packages out!

I’ve spent several weeks here getting work done as a new telecommuter while I’m setting up my new home office, and I have to say the staff is phenomenal. They are so attentive to everyone, and terribly polite and professional. Nicely Done! It’s been a great experience for me to observe some out of this world customer service done consistently on a daily basis.

This place is ridiculous. Thursday, I went in to ship a phone to my mother, who broke hers. They told me if I wanted it delivered on Saturday, it would be over $ 80. Yes… EIGHTY DOLLARS.
The manager I was talking to says «Oh, well, we can get it there Monday instead for $ 74. A box to ship it in will be $ 5 extra.»
I actually asked him if he was out of his fucking mind, since I could ship it via the post office with the same amount of care for $ 3 – 5 and walked out.
Never before have I seen such ridiculous pricing on something so simple. It was a box that weighed less than 10 oz, even.
Went to the post office the next day… Yes, I shipped it on Friday, and it arrived across the country today on Monday, for $ 2.65 and then an extra $ 2.50ish for insurance on the package.
What a rip off this FedEx is. I’ll never go back, nor will I ever ship anything via FedEx again, unless it’s a company choosing to ship an item to me on their dime.

I needed to ship a variety of things and they showed me products and services at different price points to help me decide which were best. They took the time to help when I really needed it. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that their prices seemed high compared to other pack and ship companies.

I called over and was happy to hear that the manager, Shane, was the one to pick up. I had worked with him before so I let him know I had a rush 525 color pages that needed to be printed and bound within the hour. He told me to come on over. I walked in and he was right there to greet me and get started on my print job. He saved the day as I was in and out of there with 20 minutes to spare before the meeting that I needed the documents for started. Woohoo!

The only star this place gets is for the one employee who acknowledge that we had come through the door even though he was helping another family ahead of us. Another guy in the back (who ended up being the guy «helping» us) didn’t bother to assist until it was obvious the first guy was busy.
Came in to get my son’s passport photo. My son is a little guy. He can sit, and will sit calm and peacefully for a few minutes. Once Kinko’s guy found out the passport photo was for a baby, he instantly went from half-​smile to no-​smile. Then he proceeded to tell us how it was a hopeless case — how babies never sit still, blah blah blah. AND THEN WALKED AWAY! Since we were there already, I just asked to his walking away back — can you at least — is that okay?
My son actually was pretty still for quite a bit, but it took the guy at least 3 – 4 minutes before he would take a shot, and it really did seem like the ONLY time the flash went off, was when my son actually moved. It was like this guy was just trying to prove some point of his.
Look mister. I wasn’t telling you to like my kid, to be his best friend, to come to my house and babysit. I was asking you to DO YOUR JOB. I’m sorry that was so rough for you. On the flip side, at least he did refer us to somewhere else, but his attitude was crap. If you at least pretend to entertain someone, maybe they won’t be so annoyed with you. And I was left wondering if he got some sort of referral for sending us somewhere else… Jerk.
BTW, unlike most other locations, their passport «photo area» is literally, some textured wall. Can’t you people at least take a big sheet of paper so it looks slightly «nicer»? I mean, correct me if I’m wrong, but you guys have plenty of poster sized rolls in stock. Other locations have some sort of a screen at least.

Much improved over the past several years. I used to avoid going to this location even though it is close by, using the one in Bothell Canyon Park instead. The turnover here has been healthy, and the staff is now very attentive and helpful. I had a corporate account and started shifting my business back here and have not yet had a problem. Scott, who transferred down to this location from Bothell, is particularly helpful and a good influence. Glad to be able to recommend this location.

The customer service… including the managers are a joke! Rude and unhelpful. I went in to send a fax, the main fax wasn’t working so they sent it from behind the counter for me. What they did not tell me is that it was going to be considered long distance (to Bothell mind you) so it would be nearly $ 2 a page, not including the first page which was $ 3…and when I asked the women was very argumentative.
They were just rude and unfriendly all around.
