I love coming here for furniture finds, designer clothing etc. nice people and nice stuff. Clean and well organized too!

Ever see the big, blue Goodwill truck that’s parked in the northeast corner of the QFC parking lot every single day of the week? It’s a FABULOUS place to drop off bags of clothes, toys, small appliances, household items — practically EVERYTHING. The truck is always manned by a helpful guy, and the items you donate go to a good cause (folks in the community who can really use them, sold at grossly discounted prices). It’s an easy way to get rid of unwanted/​outgrown stuff, plus you get a tax write-​off for the donation! Why bother going to the hassle of putting on a garage sale, being nickel and dimed for each item, and all the stress that that would entail. Dropping everything off at the big blue truck is the easiest, most convenient way to clean out your house, and you’re helping people in need to boot. It’s a win-​win situation.
The only reason I’m not giving this drop-​off four stars: they don’t take everything (for example, we were told to drive our small-​scale lightweight plastic outdoor chairs to Value Village ourselves, as the truck wouldn’t accept them. Same with a kid’s scooter and bike. Plus, of course, they don’t take electronics or kiddie car seats, too). Plus, once in a blue, blue moon, the truck isn’t there. This has happened to me perhaps twice in the past year. But it’s such a rarity, and this is such a great drop-​off, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
