Good spot! Enjoyed the ambiance and yummy hot cocoa. The restaurant is conducive to kiddos and that’s always a plus.

We have a lot of family in Redmond and were visiting them recently. On our way out of town we stopped here, and were so delighted. We had a vanilla latte and a white chocolate mocha, and they were SO good! They had a great train table that entertained my toddler while we waited for our drinks. The area is very warm and inviting, and decorated really well. It made us ALMOST want to live closer to the in-laws(only almost) ;). Throughout our 3-day multi-state road trip, no coffee placed staked up. We kept saying, «mmmm, it’s ok. But not nearly as good as that place in Redmond! So good!» This will definitely be our hideaway every year when we go and visit family. We will sneak out for coffee each morning.

Not only disappointed, but appalled by the service, coffee taste & temp. Coffee was lukewarm, grainy, and tasted burnt. That in and of itself isn’t the reason I decided to write my first bad review, however – the awful service is what set me off. I visited with a friend a couple of months back, and as we waited for our coffee, we heard one of the employees cussing about us and ranting(personal conversations)…not cool. We chose not to complain at the time but I believe it needs to be acknowledged. I hope service improves if anything, and maybe my coffee was an abnormally bad cup. This spot was awesome, I hope it returns to its former greatness and the service issues are dealt with. Until then, I will not be back, nor will my friend.

This was such a great find on a random stop to Redmond. First of all, the owner woman is such a delight. She gave us a scone, hummus, and pumpkin spice latte on the house on a slow day. Her homemade pumpkin spice latte is amazing! Real pumpkin purée, real spices, and served for March(we got a preview) as a throwback. Amazing! There’s a great selection of local photography, jewelry, candies, and teas for sale and reasonable prices and it goes right back to the local economy. Love this place and so happy we stopped in.

Cute place, looks like a nice place to kick back and enjoy a cup of coffee. We didn’t stay, just stopped in to purchase some fresh ground coffee. They roast in house, there were a few blends to choose from. We chose the Rwanda blend, which has notes of orange peel and cocoa. Sounded interesting, and tasted good!

Cute little coffee shop located in the heart of Redmond. Variety of drinks, from lattes, iced/hot coffee, teas, hot chocolate, kombucha, etc. I ended up getting their hot chocolate so my baby sister can drink it. We also tried their kombucha, which was Brew Dr. Kombucha. It took forever just to get a regular hot chocolate!(just like what other Unilocalers mentioned) Besides that, homey vibes – cute little knick-knacks for sale, toys, artworks and all. Friendly service, it’s just slow.

While I’m not the biggest fan of coffee, the environment and employees are chill. It’s a nice place to kick back as long as you don’t mind the occasional hipster rolling through.

The service here is awful. It’s almost like you are imposing on the two people that are usually working. The coffee is ok. It will take a while for you to get your coffee. The atmosphere is really the only reason why I go there, it’s a great meeting place with friends.

Has your typical funky coffee shop vibe — mismatched furniture and low lighting. My issue with the place is that my 12oz cup of black drip coffee was served lukewarm.

Best latte I’ve had in a long time! In the heart of Redmond down home friendly service. And good music(Brandi Carlile) was playing the 2nd time I came in.

Visiting Redmond and drove past. Since I read they roast their own coffee I thought I’d stop by. I looked for pre packaged coffee but they didn’t have any. I ordered a nonfat vanilla latte. I received it quickly and it was very good! Perfect amount of vanilla and espresso! The employees were helpful when I asked about the fresh roasted coffee. I then noticed that the different types and price were on the chalkboard. I will get a black coffee next time to see if I really want to take some home with me!

I’ve read a lot of the reviews and two things are pretty Consistant. 1. The coffee here is good, but Ya need to keep an eye on those coffee pumps. 2. It takes a long time to actually get drinks. Both are true. We’ve been here a lot, but cut back because we don’t have the time to wait 20 minutes for our drinks. We have to set aside date time to get these delicious drinks before, but being busy, we don’t have any time for this place. This 20 minute wait is pretty Consistant. There might be a few other drinks ahead of us but I’ve worked in many coffee shops, up and down the west coast, in Portland and even college towns like Spokane and Corvallis to know the speed is lacking. I’ve worked in European style coffee houses, gourmet, worked in roasting plants in taste rooms and even certified by many amazing coffee roasters. I’m not the best, but know there is a problem, maher an entire community is saying«We love your coffee! We don’t have time to wait.» So here are some handy tips Cold coffee pots: My husband will go in for a cup of joe. But normally it’s either empty(the one he wants) or cold. If they are cold, the coffee has been sitting there for too long. You should check these every 30 minutes, unless it’s a coffee favorite. That coffee, you should check every 15 and have a fresh pot ready to go. This not only saves you time, but it also saves the customer time. Get a kitchen timer(I love XOXO) with multiple times on it. Use it. The timer will cost around 20 at Fred Meyers but will keep you in fresh pots of coffee. The drinks are amazing, I just hate the wait. A lot of times, people who ordered after us, get their coffee before us and we’ve waited up to an hour once. The owner was apologetic but there seems to be a lack of order. Getting backed up seems to be a real issue. I’ve noticed when they put the orders down, there is no rhyme or reason, it’s a cluster f@$&! Of cups. First of all you must devise a plan, stick with it but find organization. Being a former Barista in fast paced environments for about 10 years, my favorite trick is, person taking the order, will put syrups in cups that are marked, put a name(Which I think you do) on cup but will call it out to the Barista and place it in a line on top of the machine. That way, they know what’s next. The cup is ready for milk and coffee. Orders come out in order. That’s all I have because honestly this is the best place in town for a cup of coffee.

what the heck has happened here? it USEDTOBE great, now its is lacking of atmosphere and warmth, the place looks like its going under. I also have had on the last two visits warm coffee — looks and tastes ok but man, I like my coffee hot so get the steamer steaming and make my latte hot, hot, hot! Seems like there are a lot of changes going on either ready to sell or just lacking passion it used to have.(Where did the sofas go that were in here — real ‘Friends” feel but now gone)

Ordered two drinks and got them in a decent amount of time, but went in to order a third mocha and it took(no exaggeration) 20 minutes. It was not busy. The coffees were amazing though, hence the three stars. I understand that it is a smaller business but for a Saturday — maybe have more than one person working. I felt bad for the barista, since it would’ve been the owners fault for not scheduling a second person.

My first visit to Green Plow. We stopped by on Sunday and had an enjoyable visit with friends and family in from out of town. A nice atmosphere to casually visit with people. The space is open, with lots of seating and some funky furnishings including couches in the back. They had a nice selections of coffee and tea drinks with some unusual variations. I tried the Spicy Maple Mocha and loved it! Pleasant music turned down low enough to allow conversation. A few pastry options which were very good. Overall a pleasant coffee surprise in Redmond!

This is my go to Coffee place in Redmond! My favorite drinks are the Spicy Maple Mocha(for the adventures type) and the White Lavender Mocha. Their smoothies, Mate and chai are also worth trying. They have a small pastry selection and oat meal for breakfast. This place is great for business meetings cause there is plenty of seating and the noise level minimal. Give it a try and support local!

After visiting for several years, I’m still stuck in the middle at three stars. It is not that they are necessarily doing anything wrong, but it still doesn’t quite hit my sweet spot for coffee houses. I can think of places I prefer in Redmond, Sisters and Bend for a variety of reasons. The atmosphere is cool, modern and definitely has an eco friendly vibe. Very different from most places in Redmond, so it fits in with Brickhouse and Diego’s Spirit Kitchen on the same block. All three businesses wouldn’t be out of place in Portland. They seem well tied to the community, which I appreciate, and they roast beans on site. The location is great because they are in the heart of downtown and have early morning hours. Not having more food available seems like a missed opportunity. When I want both food and coffee, I visit One Street Down or Coho Coffee. Ultimately, I’m always left pondering, why don’t I like this place more?
