My co-workers and I come here about once a month for lunch! This place is a buffet, so food is mediocre. but what else can you expect from a buffet! Great buffets with great food cost $ 50 a person. This place is $ 20 during lunch which isn’t bad! They have hot foods, sushi, dessert, and salads.

Love this place! Great sushi selection. Best choices are during dinner, of course. Lunch isn’t bad, though! Sashimi, shrimp and crab legs are always clean and enjoyable. Staff has always been very friendly! I wouldn’t suggest the oyster, tempura roll, or takoyaki, but what do you expect? All in all, I highly suggest you swing by.

This was a restraunt that I probably wouldn’t notice unless recommended to by a friend but I’m glad I went. The food was great and had everything I liked.

Not a bad buffet. It is pretty clean. Our first time here, I loved the food. It’s the novelty of trying new things. But we came here a following week later bc it was my birthday. If its your bday and you bring three people, your meal is free. Our second visit was not as good. Their cooked sushi is consistently delicious. I enjoyed this portion of the buffet the most. Their salad section wasn’t that appealing. They don’t have that much vegetables, in fact. Going on the other side, their dim sum and Chinese food isn’t that good either. I liked their Dungeness crab though. They have it on the weekends. Their soups are so so. Dessert was okay though I am not that big of a desert person. Overall, the food was okay.

I am thoroughly impressed to say the least. I am very used to your typical Asian buffets so I expected Haiku to be no different. But it exceeded my expectations. I feel like buffet food usually tastes like, well, buffet food. However the quality at Haiku was among the best that I’ve tasted– maybe even better than the ones in Vegas(given the presentation isn’t as fancy as the ones in LV). Sushi was fresh and so was the raw fish selection, along with the oysters and mussels. Their shu mai was pretty good, my experience with other buffets were that they were stale. I also really enjoyed their self-serve steak section. As for dessert– Not only do they have cute little pastries, they have your typical vanilla, strawberry and ALSOGREENTEAICECREAM! It was sooo good! Everything overall was pretty solid however I do wish the tables didn’t feel so crammed together, and I wish there was fried chicken and clams :(tho I may have come at the wrong time!

Went on a Tuesday night around 7. Large place. Could not get someone to refill drink. Food was ok nothing special. My wife said one of the pieces she tried(like small omelet, sorry don’t know the real name) tasted like it was spoiled or about to be. They have some Chinese food and a small carving station with beef roast, sausage and ribs. Didn’t try it though. They also have a desert area and a crêpe station. Desert area kind of sparse most things only had two or three pieces left. Almost forgot they have a chocolate fountain, some fruit and marshmallows to dip in. Overall it’s a buffet… Not horrible but not good either specially after the bill came for my wife and I, two buffets and two cokes was $ 65! Pricey for the quality in my opinion. I would say it’s on par with the sushi and chino food you would get at Safeway.

Not bad. I think this buffet is about 3.5 stars. It doesn’t get too crowded and when it is, they replenish the food pretty quickly. On Saturdays, they have Dungeness crabs, which is pretty yummy. The highlight is their sushi. I loved eating their cooked rolls. The soups and Chinese food selection is kind of a disappointment though. They don’t have a good selection of vegetables too so expect eating more carbs and meats. Their facilities are pretty clean. Bathrooms are pretty clean. Parking is easy to find. Btw, if you bring three people to the buffet on your birthday, the birthday meal is free! Not bad right? Drinks are extra.

Great offering for $ 28 bucks. Came on Friday for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the selection. Good tempura, roast beef, ribs, crêpe station, SPIDERROLL(not that much crab in there though), they had a «chef special» roll which I thought had tempura shrimp but it was actually fried imitation crab which was funny and kinda smart, they had kalbi too, baked mussel, ice cream, snow crab and king crab(king crab was really old), CAPRESESALAD. I want to see what their lunch buffet is like. I love the décor here. Is it just me or are the seats really comfortable? Service was quick, my used plates were quickly taken away.

I’ve gone here both for lunch & dinner already and I think the only difference on the spread is that they serve salmon sashimi for dinner and just tuna for lunch. Overall, I love the place. I think it has everything one would want especially with sushi and sashimi. This is the first sushi place that I actually liked in Washington, I hope to try and discover more but in the meantime this is my go to place for my sushi craving! :)

3.5 stars. I visited for dinner over Mother’s Day weekend so there was quite a crowd. We noticed that many dishes were running low and the chefs were having some difficulty with replenishment although we realized they were doing their best. Hopefully on a regular day, the food would be more consistently stocked. ** TIP: If you have a coupon or special offer, you must present this at the beginning once seated to ensure the deal is applied. The buffet selection is HUGE! Although the food is pretty average for a buffet, there were a couple items that stood out to me, mentioned below. They also have a few unique offerings — A carving station(with a boneless roast, sausage links and beef ribs), dim sum selection, chocolate fountain, and freshly-made crepes. MUST-TRY items: ** Butter Shrimp — Very similar to Honey Walnut Prawns, except with a slightly sweet glaze instead of a mayo sauce. ** Kalbi Beef Ribs — A lot of pieces were on the fatty side, but assuming you find a good piece, they are seasoned well and perfectly grilled. ** Hot & Spicy Crab — This is somewhat challenging to eat as they are little crabs cut in half with the legs still attached. There’s not much meat in them, but the seasoning is amazing — it’s covered in loads of red pepper flakes and is salty with a touch of sweetness. ** BBQ Duck — Always a must at any buffet… so lean and tender. Items I would FOREGO: ** Snow Crab Legs — Usually, I’d recommend to pile these on your plate at a buffet. BUT they were extremely salty, as if boiled in salt water. I couldn’t eat more than just a couple. ** Spicy Tuna Roll — The tuna is alarmingly red. I didn’t personally try this, but my sister said it was overwhelmingly spicy and didn’t feel great after eating it. The sushi selection is vast and they even offer some handrolls. Based on the California Roll and Unagi, the flavors were okay although the rice tasted more on the bland side. As for the price, $ 27 /person for dinner is average(**TIP: You are allotted 2 hours to eat — hopefully you’d be stuffed by then, but just be conscious of the time to avoid paying a fee). However, the service here is pretty good — water arrived quick and employees are always roaming around clearing empty plates. Parking is easy to find as Haiku is just a short walk from the Redmond Town Center’s parking garage.

Obviously you aren’t going to get the quality of a Sushi or other Asian restaurant, but this buffet is definitely worth checking out. I believe it was about $ 25 per person and if you can eat a good amount it is definitely worth it. If you’re the kind of person that will eat one plate and be full, you’re probably wasting your money. One thing that really sucked when we were there is they were out of all ice cream flavors except vanilla and chocolate which was lame. Overall it was alright but I probably won’t ever go there again. Can definitely get more for your buck and enjoy the food more at a different place for this price.

Terrible service. Terrible food. Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Now it tastes like food poisoning. And smells of diarrhea. I wouldn’t recommend this dump to a homeless family as an alternative to eating out of the trash. The employees were not concerned with the presentation of the food on display. Every item that hit my fork was either cold of dried out or both.

I went to Haiku Sushi about a week ago. Well, I got here right as they opened so I was the first person in there. I asked to be seated and they told me to hang on. Ok, I thought. Strange but whatever. I waited about 5 minutes and other people came in and were seated right away. I asked why I was still waiting on a table since I was in there first thing. I got a none answer and they showed me to my seat a few minutes later… Ok, not off to a great start but I looked at the buffet and thought. Wow! This looks good! I was wrong… so very very wrong. I started with a smal sampling of sushi. The sushi was sort of warm and tasted bland and I could not finish all of it. I went back to the buffet and got some dumplings and buns. The buns were alright and the dumplings were sub par. At this point I went back again and tried the BBQ. It was the most disappointing things I tried. The meat was dry and the sauce was not spicy or very flavorful. I did not expect everything to be amazing because it is a buffet and we all know buffets for the most part are not as good as their counterparts individually, but for the price *25.00* a person, I did expect better than the Asian version of old country buffet…

This I have to say is my favorite buffet restaurant. Not only do they have a good selection of nice quality sushi but they also make crêpes, different types of soup, cook to order grill, some dimsum, & a whole other selection of Asian food. This is the place to go to if you got the cravings for sushi. The average price for a plate of sushi outside ranges from $ 9-$ 12 and that is just for several pieces of sushi if you’re lucky. So yeah you are pretty much getting you’re moneys worth after your second plate here and then some. We usually try to go on a weekday though during lunchtime since the price per head from Monday through Thursday is $ 15.95 versus $ 23.95. The price«varies» depending if it’s dinnertime, weekend lunch/dinner or if it’s a holiday. It’s more expensive during the holidays .^_~ So make sure to call or check their website before heading there!!! ENJOY!!! :D . (425)376−2998 Just so you know or didn’t notice they are closed after 3:00 from M-F and then they open again at 5:00.There is a half hour difference during the weekend. Website says they serve Dungeness crab during weekend dinners. No Dungeness crab on Saturday evening(3÷19÷16) A few of the dishes made my stomach do flips at 1st bite, surprised I wasn’t worshiping the porcelain goddess the rest of the evening. They had a large selection of different foods. Too bad none of it was very good. Won’t be back anytime soon.

Pretty popular, we got there right after it opened on a Saturday night. We were seated by the front door and then it started to get packed so we had lots of people standing behind us waiting for their turn and it got cold with the door constantly opening/closing. The buffet was very nice. They had a lot of variety. The two main items I was interested in though were the worst in the place. The lobster is where you will see a line and it is tiny pieces in a weird sauce that makes it difficult to eat. The crab was in bad shape. It was in the cold area with shrimp, etc. It was very water logged and I only came across one or two legs that were worth eating. Everything else we tried was pretty good. The sushi was very good. Neither of us tried any of the desserts. It was about $ 70 for 2 adults with soda drinks.

For its price, it’s a nice quality Asian style buffet. I went to the place for weekend lunch, and the price is $ 21 per person. It’s more expensive than the cheap $ 10 Chinese buffet or old country, but definitely less than the high end places like Salty’s($ 50). And this difference is being clearly reflected in the food quality. First of all, the place is quite popular. We arrived at 11:30 and the restaurant was filled out pretty fast. By 12:30 almost all the seats were taken. It’s good because for buffet, you definitely want a big crowd so there are always new refill to keep the dish fresh. The service was pretty good. We were well attended by the waitress for water refilling and dirty plate collecting. Now the food. The selection is pretty good. Lots of sushi and sashimi to choose from. The hot dish section is smaller but got some good choices as well. Stir fried crab, steamed fish, dim sum choices. Though the restaurant name is sushi, they do have lots of other Asian food options. The food quality is decent. Not superb but definitely better than lots of buffets. Sushi and sashimi are good and fresh. The stir fried crab meat is moisten and firm. The steamed fish head might looks scary but the meat is very tender. Plenty choices of dessert as well. The chocolate fountain is definitely kids’ favorite. I like that they offer green tea and red bean flavored ice creams, which is very Asian and hard to find around here. A few complains though. The dim sum’s flavor is quite plain, the roast beef is kind of hard to chew, and there is sand in steamed clams. Generally speaking, the food quality matches the price. For Asian style buffet in eastside, it’s quite a good choice.

This is a good buffet for the price. Tons of seafood and not just in the sushi section. I completely piled two plates up with food and I was skipping lots of items. I didn’t have room to finish the food I did get(shame on me). They have plenty of sushi, salad, dim sum, hot items(mostly Chinese food), soup, dessert etc Food isn’t the greatest of course. I’ve even had better sushi at other sushi buffets, but the sushi here isn’t bad and infinitely better than the one belt place I’ve tried. The baked salmon was not overcooked! Surprising… I found dessert to be the weakest of the stations but they usually are at buffets. They do have Asian flavor ice creams(red bean and green tea) so that was great. I love both of those flavors. My son loves this place so much, he’s been here twice in a month. First time was with his dad. Second was with the whole family so mom finally had a chance to try what he’s been talking about for a month. Take away. Decent seafood buffet for the price(if you come for lunch). Lots of choice. Don’t come expecting awesome food but it isn’t crap either.
