I can’t say enough good things about Redmond Ridge Jazzercise. All of the instructors are really fun and motivating. It really doesn’t feel like exercise at all. The music is so upbeat that you just have to move. The one hour class includes dance moves, strength training, floor routines and stretching. The instructors always show the low impact version of a routine so that if you are new to exercise or have any movement restrictions, you can still follow along. For additional motivation, gifts are offered for continuous attendance during certain times of the year. I have received some really nice handbags and shirts just for going to class! There are many different body sizes here and sweat pants, a t-shirt and a good pair of sneakers are all you will need. The routines are always varied with some older routines mixed in with some newer ones. The music is very upbeat and includes many of the newer songs on the radio. Requests are always welcome by the instructors. Classes are offered most days of the week. This is such a great way to work off any sort of stress and to gain more energy. I am a stay-at-home mom and have homeschooled my 3 kids for the past several years. It’s all I did! One day at coffee a friend asked me if I did anything for myself. It nearly brought me to tears thinking I did nothing for myself or my well-being, especially mental health. She told me about Jazzercise. I was tired all the time, had gained weight, lost muscle, had no ambition, and was beginning to have some serious pain in my hip. I had my idea of Jazzercise, but thought I would just«try» it. Two years later, I have lost weight, I have more energy, I have gained muscle, strength, coordination, balance, and mental clarity. I have a positive outlook on life. I love what I do and my hip pain has completely diminished! I LOVE Jazzercise and it’s not at all what I thought it would be. It challenges me and it’s fun! I have met so many really cool people and I have a social life… again! I STRONGLY encourage ANYONE at any age to come up and give it a try. You can try it once for free! What is there to lose… except weight, fatigue, isolation, pain, health problems, etc. I am having the time of my life!!! Bonny
