Went to them to fix a DVD nav unit that would flicker in and out on screen every once in a while. Took them 4 weeks to tell me they couldn’t fix it and returned it to me in worse condition, now the nav doesn’t work at all and to make things worse they wouldn’t return my diagnostic deposit.
Yes, I understand they found the problem and that’s what the diagnostic deposit was for but returning my equipment in worse condition and still taking my money is unacceptable.
Please stay far away from these unprofessional (They never call you back when they say they will) cheapskates.

Constant put me on hold!!!, they fix my cd without explanation what went wrong and rip me off with high $$ bill. They promised will call me the next day but never did and I am the one who called them repeatedly to find out my Acura’s CD! Worst of all, they lost my CD! I wrote to Acura Lynwood, Bellevue and Seattle about this as they the one who recommend this shitty business!!!

King Audio worked very hard to ensure the customer was completely satisfied.
Martin was very helpful in working with me and the insurance company. I am very thankful for all if King Audio’s hard work.

They did a great job repairing a 52″ LED TV and a vintage Pioneer stereo for me.

OK, I’m a big fan for a few reasons. I was pointed to King Audio not only by Honda of Bellevue but also by some guys at my local Car Toys. I’d been dealing with my radio being dead for the past 2 years and some car trouble that I thought stemmed from this issue, but when I got a quote from Honda it was nearly $ 800. Out of my budget and then some.
Fast forward to my dad visiting me and deciding to fix my car stereo as a Christmas gift. We drive over to King Audio, they tell me the cost upfront and pop my system out in less than 5 minutes. Three days later I get a call from one of the owners telling me that the CD reading component of my radio has an issue they have only seen twice before (after working on literally hundreds of other Honda radios). I was relieved when he told me that they could fix it and it would be ready for re-​installation the next day.
I asked if I could get an auxiliary cord placed in and they put in the order for the part and got it in quickly.
My entire experience has been great — not only can I finally listen to music in my car again, I’m not having anymore battery draining issues (my guess is the issue with the CD player was doing this). They gave me a 90 day guarantee and have answered all my questions quickly and professionally. I would recommend their services to anyone in need of honestly priced audio services.

Called them today to ask about repairs rates and whatnot. They suggested that I reset my Onkyo receiver to factory settings. I’m tech savvy and wasn’t aware that receivers had a way to reset to stock, so I obviously hadn’t tried trouble shooting that myself. That seems to have fixed the issue and I’m glad I called them. Should I need a repair in the future I’d absolutely use them.

These guys are exceptional! Instead of forking out thousands of dollars for a replacement unit, they saved us tons of money by repairing the existing unit. Extremely knowledgeable in their field. Cannot say there is anyone around that is comparable. Top quality service, by far!!!

I called Kings and they quoted me a repair cost for my broaken auxillary outlet. I went there over lunch and they fixed it in 20 minutes and charged me less than quoted. To me this is good business and they have earned a repeat customer because of understanding how to treat customers money… like it was their own!

Aside from being so busy they were constantly being interrupted by phone calls, King Audio was a pleasure to work with. They very quickly diagnosed the problem with my Onkyo receiver and successfully repaired it under warranty. I’d recommend them.

Panic!!!
The navigation touch screen on my Lexus went down. I can’t control anything on this dang car due to the entire system being controlled by the touch screen. The windows are fogging up and I can’t even defrost the windows. I call Lexus dealerships all across the Puget Sound. One of then quoted me $ 2000, another quoted $ 1000. I also call a couple of mom and pops joints and they all tell me to call the dealership. Apparently navi systems are «something they don’t do.»
Finally I find these people in Redmond. Kings Audio. They diagnosed and fixed it in 2 days, $ 330 down the hole. It was pretty steep but they were the only ones to fix my navi. It’s a small family business so don’t expect a cappuccino machine in the lobby. It seems like their speciality is in TV and audio but the older gentleman who owns the joint is pretty darn knowledgable about his trade.
They left a couple of dings while taking out the navi system but I decided to overlook it. I was in a jam and there was no way in hell I was going to cough up a grand for this thing. Thanks Kings Audio!

I sent our Porsche amplifier to King Audio a few months ago for diagnosis and repair of an intermittent speaker concern. After almost two weeks in their possession, they said nothing was wrong with the unit. Based on their expert opinion I began looking elsewhere in the audio system. After eliminating everything else and spending a few hours of my own time I decided to buy a used amplifier on eBay. What do you think happened when I plugged in the used amplifier? Everything worked as designed.
It’s not really a question of the money, though I spent about the same amount on the used amplifier as I did on their services. It’s the fact that they’re supposed to be the experts and I had to correct their diagnosis with my limited experience. I think you’re better off sending your factory equipment back to their supplier or someone else with greater knowledge for repair. I suppose this could be a one-​time case but I even wonder if they were able to test the amplifier as it’s a known issue with the 996 after reading blogs.

They saved me $ 4,000. The Toyota dealer said they had run a diagnostic on my in-​car DVD player and it read «full system failure» So everything needed to be replaced. I took it to King Audio, they immediately figured that the system was «locked» (to prevent child use) and they were RIGHT. We went through the right menu options and everything worked just fine. So instead of paying $ 4,000 and not having access to my vehicle for days, I paid a small amount for their troubles and had my car back in 20 minutes. Nice Job King Audio.

My Onkyo receiver started to crap out after about 1.5 yrs. I looked online and found out these guys can do warranty work which meant I didn’t have to mail it in to some remote center.
Unfortunately they’re only open every other weekend so it took a little while to find a good time to get there.
When we brought it in they immediately knew what the problem was (my model was having a lot of problems with the hdmi board) and sounded confident they would have it fixed within 10 days worst case.
It turned out to take much longer than that and I had to keep calling them by phone for an update (they didn’t even end up calling me when it was finally fixed ~6 weeks later). But at least it is fixed now and I didn’t have to pay anything so overall I’m a happy camper.

I really can’t put into words the quality of service I received from this shop. I agree with Chad, their store front raised more than an few questions. I mean does anything worthwhile EVER come out of a strip mall? I couldn’t be more wrong in this case. Let me explain…
I recently had to transfer a Pioneer in dash DVD Player/​Navigation system from one car to another and in the process of so doing, the screen (unknown to me at the time I took it to Car Toys for install) had been damaged. Car Toys tried everything to get the screen to work, but there was nothing they could do. Faced with the prospect of now having a $ 4000 paper weight, I was less than happy. However, it was suggested that I take a flier to try and get it repaired. The options presented to me from Car Toys were to send it back to Pioneer in California to get it repaired (at great expense and a 2 – 3 month turnaround time; NOT OKAY) or head into Redmond at give the techs at King Audio a chance. I chose option #2, headed into the car and sped into Redmond.
I should disclose that it was about 4:30pm before I walked into King, a mere 90 minutes before they were scheduled to close. To say I was less then impressed when I walked in was a total understatement. I almost turned around and scrapped the entire repair hail mary. After telling the front counter guy, Marcin, what my problem was he said they could look at it, diagnose and if the problem was fixable, they could have it done in a few weeks. I asked him it was possible to have it looked at right way, as I’m obsessive compulsive about getting things done, and I didn’t want to wait. He said for an additional fee they would look at it right away. I quickly pulled out my wallet and got things started…

Here’s the long and the short of it people. They managed to repair my screen that day. Impressive, no? Hold on, that isn’t even the amazing part. The tech, Henry, couldn’t repair the damaged motherboard, so he built a new one on the spot. It gets better, they were supposed to close at 6, but stayed past 10pm to finish my project. Five star worthy? Almost. Here’s the kicker, they didn’t make me pay the rush fee that we agreed on when I first walked in.
At the time of this review, I’ve written 560 reviews, and King Audio Video Service is the EIGHTH to earn five stars from me. Enough said.

The repair was done faster than they said it would be; however, despite having my equipment insured and (me) contacting my insurance company they REFUSED to honour my insurance. Their employee was not understanding and was not even willing to do the research to make my use of their services more convenient. Location is out of the way, and their business hours are not long enough to accommodate anyone who works during the day. I hope that I’m never stuck in a predicament where I have to take my gear there again. Good riddance.
