My high school student loves Mathnasium. Their approach of testing each student to find the holes in their math background is a great way to start. My daughter found there were simple math operations that she either forgot or didn’t learn very well. Identifying and learning those concepts was critical for her in advanced math. It has been wonderful for her to go to Mathnasium after school for help with pre-calculus homework. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and great to work with. It has been better than having a private math tutor because she can drop in any time they are open and get help and practice. The other added benefit has been that she enjoys math and has confidence in her math abilities.
