For a workplace cafeteria, this is pretty good. There’s a decent range of choices, and they rotate often. There’s a different special daily, as well as a different local restaurant that does lunchtime catering every day. The Indian food is pretty good, and Friday is BBQ day and their mac and cheese is delicious. The fries at the burger station are pretty bad and never come out crispy. You can get tots there though, which is good. I do like that all Microsoft containers and the cutlery is biodegradable and can be put in compost, but it does mean that the cardboard boxes don’t have as much integrity as they otherwise would. While they still hold sauce in, they get a bit soft and leave water marks everywhere. They don’t seem to leak though. Also, the prices are pretty good. You can get a whole container of food for under $ 10.

I tried the pasta station for the first time today(since it was the only hot entrée station open during the«limited availability» period near the holiday). The pasta was REALLY good! I was surprised! I ordered basil pesto penne with chicken, topped with green onions, parmesan and fresh chopped tomatoes. It was just as good as something you’d receive in any fine restaurant and I’d totally order it again! With the exception of it coming in a sauce-absorbing cardboard container that is just strong enough to hold wet contents for about 6 minutes, I was very satisfied with my cuisine! Note: It takes about 8 minutes to get back to my office… I keep extra paper towels in my desk. Ugh.
