Was working in the area for most of the day, so I decided to hit up one of my old spots I used to frequent. Long ago, I used to work up the street and remember this place has always been pretty solid. I believe the owners may have changed but they still serve up pretty tasty food. Decided to get my regular of chicken & gyoza, what can I say, still tasted as good as I remember it. Nicely grilled chicken, 4 nicely fried gyozas, a scoop of rice and a «salad»(pretty much some lettuce and a few pieces of shredded carrots). I don’t need a fancy lunch and this place is pretty much is a quick spot to eat, tasty, satisfying and totally affordable. Not a very big dining room but it wasn’t very busy when I went. Staff or whomever was working the front was very nice and thankful that I came in. The many times I’ve been back then and this visit, nothing to really complain about, straightforward teriyaki joint. That is all.

Ordered their bento special which consists of chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki, 2 shrimp tempura, 2 gyoza, rice, and salad at an excellent price. Food was great, service was fast and excellent, and the lady was super nice. The only downside is the place doesn’t have a heater in the lobby/dining area or maybe they don’t turn it on. I’ve ordered in the past here and all I can remember when I think about this place is, it’s cold inside. But it sure is worth the wait! The food always satisfy my cravings for teriyaki. :)

Had their tofu yakisoba and miso soup. The tofu was good the yakisoba on the salty side had to drink a lot of water for this dish. However I love their plain white rice! The miso soup was good.

Chicken Katsu is overcooked to the point of almost burnt. It’s been like this more than once.

I really like this place as it’s quick, consistent, right level of spicy, always fresh salad, I like the dressing and it’s a pleasant place to get lunch and run back to work. Of course I could get Arby’s, Red Robin or Subway a stones distance away. But, I feel this is healthy alternative for me. And, no never been food poisoned here.

This place is OK. They do have lots of potential which is painful when you see that they don’t put much effort into quality. But I understand the teriyaki and/or food business at this size needs to just make money sometimes and good enough seems to be their motto. I have been here several times now and nothing changes. This is good for some people but sad for people who wants to see the potential of this place be leveraged. The chicken has been always pre-prepared and used for all dishes. So this being the fact, it is always bland boring chicken with which ever sauce you chose to pay for on top of that. I don’t recommend paying for any flavors in that case since they do have a bottle of sriracha for free at the table. just order regular chicken and then use the free sauce since the spicy order will just charge you more for no real reason. The place is clean every time I go and the water station always fully stocked. I find it confusing that the napkins would be so far from the area where we would at least need some. I mean, Daiso is right down the street man! Just go and buy some napkin holders for each table! Automatically they will be Asian themed and cost about $ 1.50 each! The service is prompt and Koreanish as usual. Kind of the norm with teriyaki joints in the area so nothing great or bad about it. Pretty straight forward. Just need better food quality, it’s easy. If you can’t eat your own food for a week without wanting to change something, it’s good. Try it.

Ate here on Tues, Feb. 10, 2015 and I’ve never had worse food poisoning in my life. A few hours later I was doubled over in half and on my way to urgent care. My guts gurgled with anger as my stomach developed its own heartbeat, each beat feeling like someone was hitting me with a carnival sledge. This came paired with a nice case of constipation, ensuring that the poison just sit and fester in my bowels. As I rocked back and forth for 3 days trying to get comfortable I cursed the sonovabitch that served me rotten or uncooked chicken. I’m still battling the high fever that resulted as of nearly a week from the poisoning(Mon Feb. 16). I’ll be going back in person to let them know how happy I am about it. Maybe I’ll let them cover some of the hospital bills. I’ll be having them inspected for sure. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered extra chicken on my chicken teriyaki for extra 2 $… It was the best meal I have never had for under 10 $ near by Microsoft.

The teriyaki is quite good here; I’ve had the chicken and pork teriyaki, and both are solid. The gyoza are pleasing and crunchy, though they don’t at all taste like they’re made in-house. Prices and portions are reasonable and satisfying. But the yakisoba shall never again pass my lips. The yakisoba sauce is a felonious, sickeningly sweet mixture of ketchup and five-spice, and should not be fed even to a dog you dislike.

Cheap and fast food. The food is pretty good too. Restaurant is a bit small. Nice service. Would come again.

When I can grab a generous serving of rice, chicken teriyaki and gyoza for about $ 7, I’m always down to give the joint a shot. When the aforementioned food turns out to be pretty delicious, I call myself a fan! Nasai Teriyaki is small, unpretentious, and the ideal lunch destination. As someone who’s eaten healthy amounts of teriyaki across SE Asia, I found the food pretty tasty and not super americanised. It’s not a gourmet dining experience by any means, but it’s some solid bang for your buck and will leave you with a full, satisfied stomach.

Above par food quality and taste. However, dwindling portion size and poor customer service mean I won’t be retuning. We waited to place our order and only to be interrupted mid-order for incoming phone order or other business(instead of placing person on hold to wait their turn). Chicken portion on teriyaki was noticeably small compared to competition at similar price.

First time here for lunch. Tried the nasai special, wow the portion is substantial: gyoza, tonkatsu, teriyaki, tempura, rice and salad. I asked for the teriyaki to be spicy. The sauce is good, not too sweet, and enough tanginess. Only thing I was not impressed with is the tempura. If you try this place for the first time, the nasai special is a good way to sample the fried/grilled food here. Will come back to try the soup items on the menu. One thing I miss and not found here in the States: the cabbage slaw that accompany a tonkatsu dish.

Once a month I venture down to this area to visit my credit union. Today I was down there and felt a hankering for teriyaki. It’s been a long, long time since I’ve had teriyaki… So I hopped on my trusty Unilocal app and looked up teriyaki places near where I was. I had originally decided on Yumiko Teriyaki based on the reviews, but my navigation wasn’t working and I didn’t have time to try and figure it out myself. I saw this teriyaki place thinking it might have been Yumiko but ended up being Nasai instead. Oh well, I only had limited time and these parts are a little far from my office on Rose Hill so I just went in. I was somewhat relieved to see that the place was busy — good sign, but then again, not hard to find at any restaurant during lunch hours around Microsoft, good OR bad. I got back to my office, opened it up and was pleasantly surprised. The teriyaki sauce isn’t the best I’ve had, but it was good and the chicken was super moist. They also offered up quite a generous helping of rice. It definitely did the job of filling the teriyaki void I had. Yay!

This nice and quiet and small teriyaki place sneaks up on you as you make the interesting drive through Overlake. The location may be unusual but do not let that discourage you from trying the place out. The food is just about as good as it gets. Large portions, always fresh, and the prices are very reasonable. Keep up the good work, and I will keep coming back.

Great little teriyaki place. We stop by here every time we come back from berry picking on Remlinger farms. Generous portions. All the dishes are pretty standard, but I love the curry — it’s actually a little spicy! But not spicy enough to be alarming. Free miso soup is always welcome — it’s nothing amazing but it’s appreciated :)

Nasai Teriyaki is the best in Redmond. There teriyaki sauce is tasty, they always have free miso soup, there portions are reasonable, and the cost is low. Some coworkers drag me to Yummy Teriyaki from time to time, and it is good, however it cost $ 3 more and they waste too much food. I do agree that the parking lot at Nasai crowded but I don’t want to go to a Restaurant where the lot is empty at noon.(there is probably a reason for that.) You can’t beat the Nasai location, it is right next door to Malt & Vine where you can eat your Teriyaki with one of the 15 Micro Brews they have on tap. If I had one negative thing to say about Nasai it’s that they play country music… Other than that Nasai is the best, hands down.

Tip: Discover not Accepted, so V or MC only. :-\ Nothing fancy here, but that’s a GOOD thing. You can eat in, but I recommend you get take out if you can. Spicy Chicken has a nice flowering burn, and like the place there’s nothing fancy about it. It’s simple and that’s what makes it so good! Grilled chicken with a red pepper paste and a VERY simple spice sauce. Enjoy with a decent portion of white rice. It’s a standard size ‘diamond dollop’ of white rice… if you know what I’m talking about. At least… I assume it’s standard. I’ve seen the exact same size and shape used for serving elsewhere, so I can only assume there is some common rice utensil that restaurants are using to divey out the rice. Hoisin sauce is available inside, and they’ll include a small container in take out as well. If you want rooster sauce though, you’ll have to ask or squeeze some out before you leave… or buy your own, because they won’t automatically add it. At least they didn’t for me. Take out also includes a simple lettuce salad. Total cost was just over $ 7 :-) GREATDEAL for some VERY tasty food! :-D

Pretty generic teriyaki. It’s good, not great. I had the chicken yakisoba… the portions were HUGE… but this is a time when quality over quantity was a factor. It’s definitely not bad… I just don’t have anything special to say about it. However, one thing that I did notice is that this place is much cleaner than most! Not lick off the floors clean… but more«I don’t think I’m going to get a disease or food poisoning by eating here» clean.
